My dear fellow indians..."patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel"...be humans first. save the dying people from floods,famine,cyclones,unemployment,corruption...and all sorts of indian trademark natural and manmade calamities...its just like making the very national song practical, as by far its just a poem on a paper which is beautiful to hear but hard to make it real.
I dont think that only VANDE MATARAM can make u patriotic.Infact as a muslim when i am asked not to say that i would consider myself singing the song SAARE JAAHAAN SE ACHA song.
But it doesnt reflect or prove anything by saying those words.There are other beautiful songs such as SARFAROSHI KI TAMMANNA etc which makes us more patriotic.
I think the state government is just trying to get peoples attention and prove that they are very patriotic.If they really are patriotic why dont they fight against corruption,poverty and getting treatment for the people who cannot afford money in hospitals.
Nothing wrong with it. Chrisitan schools are partly funded by the Government - in terms of paying salaries and other subsidies. These christian schools use government money to propogate their religions. In comparsion to that, nothing wrong with people singing VM.

This song means putting the head down in front of Land of India.i.e worshiping other than Allah which is against the Very Basic and first Fundamental Belief(pillar) of Islam .Islam has not permited us to worship other than Allah , Which is the Biggest Sin in Islam . We all perform Tauba that may Allah forgive sin of reading this song.
We worship Allah and Say praise to Allah that He has Given Such a Beatiful land of India.
We all say thanks to Allah that He has shown us the right path by way of Islam so we can testify who is God and Seprated us from Those who consider Land as God and many Other as God . May Allah Show them a right Path that who should be worship , Lad or Allah.

I request all the people who oppose 'VANDE MATHARAM' to sing once, if ur an indian to understand the power,moral value resideing in those lines.....
actually its all nonsense that it is a political hype to make the vande mataram if bjp,trinmul,shiv sena knows what actually means they might not commit huge corruption in their terms and vande mataram is not our national anthem so it should be left to upon the people wish whether they read or not.
I cant express how sad & letdown I feel after this controversy. Its the same shame we are going through after people reject to voice Vandemataram. I cant belive why cant this wonderful anthem raise patriotism in people's mind and not religious feelings. I refer to both Muslims and Hindus, If muslims want to avoid reciting Vandemataram it would be disrespect to Mother India ( I hope muslims realise the importance of Mother as they belive heavan-Jannath is in her feet). And it would be a shame if Hindu's try to raise religious feelings with this Anthem as this will take away the patriotism attached with Vandemataram and make it just a religious issue. We cant forget the sacrifices by the legendary muslim leaders for our Freedom, I am sure my muslim brothers will feel the same pride in Singing Vandemataram as our legendary muslim leaders felt ealrier, and as Our great musician A.R.Rehaman feels and as proud as Our president Mr.Kalam feels.

when the congress involved in the fredom moment they badly wanted all these slogans, but when Italy is ruling India indirectly they don't want anything but pizzas and pastas, these are all to say zee huzuor to that so called madam who has got her property in Italy and sitting here.
