Singing or not singing any song does not make one less or more patriotic. And please grow from your dogmatic nationalism. Contibution to society and culture and above all humanity is more important than any song. If you love 'Bharat Mata', then feel free to do so. Its not congress or bjp or any party but incompassionate fools that ruin things. Anyways, nothing in life should be mandatory. i do not need to sing a song to prove to anybody how i feel about my country. neither should anybody else. BTW how many of you even know the lyrics of Vande Matram!
Can we please keep aside these issues and focus on development of the country? Just if you say Vande Mataram from your mouth doesn't mean you are a true Indian and patriotic towards your nation. Lets work together. Work hard in whatever you do, job, business, student..& please honestly pay your taxes. then only you are doing justice to you nation and contributing to your nation. Well no words for Congress & particularly Sonia.India is not her motherland so she can never understand the meaning of Vande Mataram.Secondly few months back the Muslim community & so said Minority with exploding population wanted quotta in Defence services.Definitely these people would have supported pakistan in case of war saying they are their islamic brothers as motherland does not means anything to them.
Then this minority community have got a leader named Bukhari who says its anti islamic to sing Vande Mataram.If he does whats written in Islam then he should have been the first one to ask banning use of loud speakers as definitely in Kuran loud speakers are not mentioned.Well I can go on & on but irony of this country is we have minority status for a community which has a population of arround 18 crores & one paramveer chakra vijeta.Whereas we have another minority called Sikh with population of arround 1.5 crores but 5 paramveer chakra vijeta.
The Congress headed by a rank outsider, naturally cannot accept the true meaning of "Vande Mataram." It is but natural for this party which is full of pshycophants and nincompoops, to support misguided minority religious heads over such an important and patriotic issue.God save India ie Bharat. If "Vande Mataram" can be recoined as "VANDE MATA ROME" this party which celebrated ITALY winning the world cup will go all out to make "VANDE MATA ROME" not only the only national song, but also amend the constitution to name atleast One Million streets in India as "VANDE MATA ROME," to immortalize their revolutionary and greatest visionary (sic). Till then I doubt the sincerely of these bloody imams to their mother land. Is singing of a national song a highly debatable topic in the parliament and everywhere else when we have so much of corruption and injustice in all parts of life and every sector of this society...why not talk or bring light to all such critical issues...however can anybody prove here that by singing a national song we can prove ourselves patriots...All of us here are known to the fact that something when forced brings in aversion...Lets not bring such a situation....
By doing this the very fact of we being a democratic country is being lost...this will in turn be the most dangerous point for all of us......
Being Patriotism and being religious are two completely different terms......Lets not confuse patriotism with religion.....
Patriotism is being patriotic comes from within ..giving due respect to our national anthem & national song......singing these songs by showing respect and remembering the greatest martyrs is different and singing these in compulsion and under dictatorship is different.....the respect towards the song is being lost under the latter.......no true patriot will ever like that....so lets not get such situation......
