I think no one has labelled anyone as terrorists. People should understand that it is for the safetly all including their own relatives. If police was suspecious then they have to do their job. They certainly must have or done something which would have raised flags. The people who are complaining should also understand that how much agony and financial losses that airline and airport must have gone through because of this , but they are determined to make sure all people reach their homes safely.
Sad, but this is only the beginning. If Muslims don't collectively and very visibly raise their voices against the fanatics in their midst, and try to rein them in by all means, they'll forever become the 'terror suspects' in the eyes of the rest of the world. This is a wake-up call to the Islamic community to increase education levels in their midst and start on the road to progress instead of blaming the whole world for their problems.

While it is true that western nations are dying to be scared... every news... everyday is about who is coming down to kill them... paranoia is government induced... Each hyped incident allows govt to miss main issues like national debts & unemployment... & send young kids to die to secure oil wells & pipelines... in the name of fighting terror...
but the issue here is that ... one is sure that all passengers on that flight had mobile phones... yet select few chose to keep jumping around & use the phones... & who got harassed..? the rest of the passengers...
flight could be international or from Bangalore to Cochin ... if some joker is monkeying around & wants to show off his handset... white black purple orange... whatever the color... lock him in... one need not be holding a bomb...just walking around when seatbelt sign is on OR using handset inflight is enough...
If however the attendents for absolutely no reason requested F-16s, diverted the plane & harassed passengers... sue the damn airlines for being racist...
but one is sure there was some wrong behavior by the passengers... US airhostess cant just order F16s on a whim... no airline is offering such perks...
Why in the hell these man were not listening to the cabin crew and shuffling phone around when its clearly against the law? Why are the relatives of these "innocent" traders shouting now? If you are travelling on a plane, you need to follow the rules layed out by different governments and not think that its a Mumbai-Virar fast local.

Rightly said... you could be noble peace prize winner for the year... but if you dont place your bum on the chair when told & use mobiles once the cabin door is closed... you need to be fried...
nothing is more irritating than passengers being difficult & playing the goat in these days of anxiety stricken, yet unavoidable flying...
I am surprised the authorities did not make these guys pay for delay & harassment caused to all the other passengers...

Mr.Goswamy, Don't be emotional and jump into conclusions. The europeans have not abused or ill-treated INDIANS. They have just followed what any alert cabin crew would have done. First of all tell me, is it there fault if they find these idiots runnig around in a plane when it is about to take off. Terrorists have dug their own grave and have gifted their community friends with this racist suspicion where ever they go.

Its got nothing racial, you are to follow certain minimum rules in the flight, ignoring that means you have to be punished not only for your indecent behaviour but also for the real agony caused for the fellow travellers

This is 100% Racial harassment. It is atrocious that South Asian people are arrested and kicked off flights for conversing in their language, for being dressed differently, and for looking different.
We should teach those WHITE IDIOTS a lesson. We should do the same to European and American Passengers flying in India. If they talk in a non-Indian language, they would be hand-cuffed and taken off the flight on suspicion of terrorism. If they dress differently from Indians, they should be kicked off the flights because they look suspicious.
I would advise Mr.Abdul Kadar Kolsawala not scream but instead can he ask his fellow men to stop this nefarious activities so that other of his communities would not bear this type of sufferings.
