Im tired of seeing Indians abroad act as if rules dont apply to them and that people who do follow them are fools for doing so...this should teach them to be running around on International flights and messing with cellphones like they were in Ludhiana bus stand!
I feel that things are going too far ... all in the name of security! The passengers on the NW flight were thought to be suspect just because: - they didn't speak a known european language - they didn't wear european clothing - they didn't behave nicely... according to Western norms in short, they were different. And being different is an offense for which you can be handcuffed and be accused of being a terrorist. I think the govt. of India should sue those responsible of causing unnecessary stress, loss of time, money and loss of good name, on the basis of flimsy suspicion without any evidence whatsoever. If the govt. is too spineless to do so, I hope the passengers who suffered, - not just the ones being accused, but all on the flight - will get together and take the case up in court against NW Airlines and the Dutch govt.
It is unfortunate that despite being inidians , the muslims have failed to behave themselves in a manner that is required of any oter passenger. This is th problem with the mulsims all over the world today. They have to enjoy thier persoanal laws exclusively for themselves in their own persoanl atmosphere and when out in public they have to conform to the common standards. the fault in this particular instance is tat of the passengers .Whether they are Indians or Gods , they have to conduct themselves in the manner required of them in pulblic and foreign soil . Theymust realize what their theocratic states do for others in thier soil. They can not have two yard sticks . The authrities ar3 more concerned with the safety of the passengrs and public than with the convenience and conforts of individuals and groups . even the gods wer to travel by plane they have to subject themselves to the conduct expeected of them. In inida also it is te muslims that are involved more in terrorist activities . those whoare not terorists shall have noproble in abiding by the rules and shall not be afraid or averse to rules that might cause inconvenience or discomfort. Safety is important .
I sincierly want to congratulate rediff.com for providing unbiased, fair and knowledgeble articles. I have been reading article on rediff since long time now and always felt that rediff is not discriminate when it comes about writing the article or news for sinsitive issues and gives chance to victims who are lebelled for various charges.
12 passengers have been detained in Amsterdam for what reason? This is our 8th Generation Born in mumbai and myself Hindu but I will strongly curse their (Amsterdam) government as they have obstructed our Muslims. If people all across the world are going against the muslims then they themselves will be responsible for all terror acts. All humans are alike with red blood cells in each mammal then why they need to create complex against muslims?
It has definately insulted cause these passengers are mumbaites and indians. They have insulted all of us by doing so. Shame on their act.
In order to prove that all terrorists are Muslims even our Mumbai Muslims now seems have join in the race of terrorist group. We were proud to say that not our Muslim brothers of India is in the Terrorists group but now we have to feel shame as like Pak Muslims and Islamic Fundamentalists. How unfortunate is people those are born and will dai in India are against their own country, ofcourse Arjun Singh Minisister has given signals to them as Bande Mataram our petriotic national slogan mau not be recited by muslims of India being Most secular and democratic nature.God save our India.Ramesh
