It is a well known fact that Israel is a terrorist state. Nowadays, many Christian countries in Europe acknowledge that. So much so, even a country like India, where Muslims are burnt and killed by soldiers in Kashmir and Gujarat, has supported the Arabs.
When the Christians and the Indians who spare no opportunity in slaughtering and persecuting Muslims, acknowledge that as a fact, then it's got to be true.
The former president of the US, when establishing the state of Israel was put up with the question, "what about the native Arabs" his reply was "I don't fancy the Arabs there". This is exactly the role played out by the British when they were ruling the Indians.
Ever since, the US has spared no effort & has backed Israel to the hilt. It has not only supplied missiles but also given nuclear warheads! This implies that the Israeli army is purely American and thus so strong.
Israel continues to hold thousands of Lebanese as prisoners in their dungeons, it took captive during it's illegal occupation of Lebanon. It keeps sending in helicopters & at will picks up more Leb. prisoners. Hezbollah raised this many times & finally retaliated.

Mr cadr , Reading thru your comments i am sure , you are a vivid supporter of islamist Terrorist.(may be you are also one among them) you unnecessarily draged Kashmir and Gujarat issues.
By telling that Army is burning Muslim in Kashmir and Gujarat , you seem to abosoultely ill informed living in bliss. You conveniently forgot that your clan (read Muslims) were one who first burnt the Train compartment carring Hindus.

Mr Sudhir Bisht has lucidly brought out the past events that led to the numerous conflicts in the Middle East. The interpretation of Middle East by the different actors is interesting but geopgraphically I feel Middle East is Middle East. All of us believe that the conflict is take control on the commodity oil which is very precious to the developed countries. I am of the opinion that it more than that. It is to ensure that the Suez Canal is controlled so that the economies of concerned countries do not get affected.
More important is as long as Israel and other neighbouring countries like Lebanon, Syria and Jordan exist, the Middle East Conflict will erupt even for trivial reasons and excuses.
The Middle East is the battle ground for US of A to show its supermacy in this Unipolar World. But this recent conflict has shown that US of A can also not call the shots at all times even in this region. Hence, the Proxy War between US of A and other players will always be fought in the Middle East arena.
No one in the world can be allowd to move people from one end and put in a place owned by others and declare them as masters. Co existance is ok but giving mastery on the land is jst not fine. if Bangladeshis come to india as refugees and made masters of mumbai or of Pune etc will we accept that. Why were Jews troubled so much by Nazis who were basically christians????

seems like you have not opted for history when in school?? i understand your sympathy with the radical islam, terrorists, since you are a muslim, but 6 million jews were killed by nazis, hence they left that place....
i think that is pointless to make you understand, since others being killed is of no importance to you, only when a muslim gets a scratch, you would see the injustice.
Middle East always reminds me of the following, which I had read in a very readable book entitled ABSOLUTE ZERO GRAVITY authored by Betsy Devine and Joel E. Cohen. In it there is a a Poser On Solvers of Middle Eastern Problems: "God sent Moses and he couldnt fix it; He sent Jesus and He couldnt fix it; He sent Muhammad, and He couldnt fix it. Do you think you can fix it?"
I am tempted to ask, How can one call it Middle East? It is certainly not in the middle of East, Nor is it a part of of the East. Remember the Biblical reference to "going to the East". A more befitting name would be Middle-Yeast where one trouble or another is brewing round-the-clock, round-the year, round-the century, round the millenium. V.Shrinivas
If we look at history, jews were never peace loving people. In terms that they do not fight, but they are always conspiracy minded, and make weapons sell them, and create finanical troubles to make money.
The europe was centre of all wars and unrest, till jews were there. Hitler understood and wanted them to push away.
Finally somehow, they mangaed to push all of them to ME. And so all the wars, unrest and terror is transferred to this region. And West is sittnig cooool.
Thats why they support Isreal fully, and help her, not becoz they love them but they dont want them to come to them. They know, if Isreal loses ground then jews will again enter europe and make it hell again.
There are following missing points in the article.
First, The Jewish terror. Before formation of israel thru terrorist organizations and later with the state army, Israel has killed millions of Arabs. For Jew terror history one can simple search the net and history books, there were number of military organizationw who conducted innumerable attacks and killings.
Second, The media has totally forgotten and hiding what the original owners of land paying, but a single suffering from israel is highlighted. Moreover, many UN resolutions which were vetoed, or discarded by Isreal are not mentioned, but even one resolution supporting isreal, the whole world joins hand to implement.

Did you know that the Palestinians could have had their own country as far back as 1948 had they accepted the UN sponsored partition plan which gave Israel AND the Palestinians a countries of their own on land which Jews had lived on for thousands of years?
Are you aware that the Disputed Territories never belonged to the Palestinians and only came into Israeli possession as a result of the 1967 six day war in which Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all massed forces at Israels border in order to push the Jews into the sea. The Arabs lost and Israel took control of the land. Lesson for the Arab nations is that if they dont want to lose territory to Israel, then they shouldnt start wars.
Can you explain why Arabs can worship freely in Israel but Jews would certainly be hung from street lamps after having their intestines devoured by an Arab mob if they so much as entered an Arab country?
Israel resettled and absorbed all of the Jews from Arab countries who wished to become Israelis. Why havent any Arab countries offered to resettle Arabs who were displaced from Israel,leaving them to rot for 60 years in squalid refugee camps?
Israel's history and it's future is vividly explained in the Bible. According to Bible, Jews, who are descendants of Abraham, carry with them the Lord's blessings and no one can rise against them. They are able to survive for more than 50 years in the midst of hostile Arab nations. In the world history, Jews is the only race which underwent tremendous persecutions & genocide. Inspite of all this they are able to make their presence felt and dictate terms in today's world politics and business. In the Old Testament of Bible, God had foretold them of granting a Promised land. This prophesy wrote about 3000 years ago, came true in 1948, though with the help of Britain & US. As per the prophesy, Israel can not be defeated and God will fight their wars. The famous 'Six day War' is still to be believed.
Now the world community fears that the middle-east conflict could be snow-balled into World war-III.
Can the two sides come for a compromise? Will Arab nations allow Israel to co-exist in their midst? will Israel handover the disputed territories and help the philistenian cause? Sadly, answer to these questions are difficult to find.

Why dont u open ur eyes, and why do u see what you want to see.
Israelis got this behaviour from each coutnry, because wherever they live they made it hell with conspiraies and issues. Thats why Romans slaughtered them, and pushe them away from their land. Thats why the whole europe holocasted them. Thats why even now the west does not want them to accept, and is happy to pay money and arms to keep them in the ME. So that they live here, and they can live in West peacfully.
Coming back to India, Hindus and sikhs were never in miserable conditions, and if there are some cases of they included all the public including muslims.
But I think the cover of communalism does not show you the reality.
May God help us indians, to live with love.... and understand one another !!!!!

Care to read about Hindu/Sikh plight (murders,rapes, forcible conversions etc) during muslim rule in India? Not your fault, even our school books don't mention it. According to them it was all song aand dance during mughal period. Finally, may the force be with Israel.
well there were two other arab israel wars. and the plo struggle has been left totally untouched. creation of the state of israel and the genesis of the arab dienchantment with their current leaders and the west also needs to be covered.
