I feel that the author has just stated facts and has not taken anyone's side. However I find that the criticism is quite harsh from some people, though the reason I haven't been able to fathom. I wish that rediff publishes more articles on current issues which common people have a feel of but have no real knowledge about them. I wish that someone writes about the way the UN Secretary General is elected. Another issue that I am keen to learn more about is on various small groups that are shaping the world politics like the European Union and the African Union or the ASEAN or ECOWAS etc.
this can b called an article with no vision. author should learn and study the fact before pouring the pen into the ink pot for an article to give the artcle true vision. it seems he has very less knowledge about middle east confilict. people who are sharing thier comments for the article should have fair judgement and a quite clear study about the issue on which thier making comments. it should not like "john is my enemy so john's enemy is my friend". gentlemens Study the facts n history first.good luck.

If this is the article with no vision then why dont you write a detailed article and share your vision. You arm-chair frustrated VISIONARY!
Excellent article. I also want add that Israel is the only Nuclear power in the Middle East. It will use it definitely if the others try to exterminate it. Recently Iranian leaders were on record that they wanted Israel wiped out. This is serious. I only pray that the region's volatility remains subdued always.
The article written by mr.Bisht gives the indepth details of the various wars fought over within the so called Arab countries and within their own brothers. The article has not given any conclusion but more of a reminding the history of things which happened. A nice article for the lay man to understand on these wars.
Its really very sad that the Jews who have grabbed the lands of the Arabs have been considered innocents even after killing so many innocents in the recent war in lebanon and the whole world was a silent spectator.
This is a very good article for those who are not very well aware of the conflicts. It seems unbiased too, though it seems to have let off the Israelis rather lightly. I would beg rediff to publish more of such articles which are meant for the common readers.
