When you say "if the jews are not happy , why dont they go to america or Israel", you probably think Muslims should go to the Middle East too, Parsis go back to Iran and Buddhists to China. YOU need to go back to school, pick up a civics textbook. The preamble to the constitution of India describes India as a "SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC." Look up 'secular' in the dictionary. And you call yourself an Indian?
Even after they change the name, I would not eat in this restaurant.
I thought we Indians as a community are responsible and dont treat psychopaths and terrorists as popular icons deserving recognition. The whole incident is a shame and I hope Mumbai people shun this restaurant for this cheap publicity gimmick. Why do people stoop so low as to defend a psycho that killed 10 million people in such a cruel manner?
This is very offensive. To have a restaurant named after a genocidal tyrant only promotes haterid and racism which is the last thing we need in this world. I am shocked that the government agency approved this name. In North America this would not have been permitted. I would like to know how all the Indian People and this owner will feel about a restaurant in India serving BEEF and named India\'s Little Red Forehead Dot??? Or Mohammed\'s Islamabob??? Or Mohammed\'s Tasty Martars??? With graphic pictures. I do not think they would take kindly to this. I\'m am appauled at the restaurant owner\'s moral and ethical lack of sensitivity towards the jewish people and all those that died during WWII at the hands of that mass murderer.

I wont mind dining at hitler's cross. Those who condemn hitler are more atrocious than hitler himself. The jews have no right to say what others can do. this is not israel. if the jews are not happy , why dont they go to america or israel? if no indian laws are violated anybody is free to choose his joint's name. why should we care about the sentiments of jews? jews have made it a habit of going after civilians in mideast. they do target practice on UN personal. seems the americans and their 'coalition of the dwindling' are eager to please the jews all the time. the jews could go and live in one of these countries , right?
I thought we had a democracy here. It's a shame that any group can create a controversy and try to trample on individual rights in our country. I urge the management of Hitler's Cross not to be cowed down by threats but keep the name of the restaurant unchanged. I am sure they have the support of the silent majority.
I don't see any problem there. Hitler is dead long ago. True he was directly reponsible for the manslaughter. People in India still remember Hitler as a man who stood up to Britain. As long as the restaurant does not say well...there was no holocaust..I think it is fine. We are not America or even Europe to be either having a strong Jewish lobby or be apologetic. We in India have done nothing against the Jews and neither are we siding with Hitler on this. Our older generation might have sided with Hitler because he was the enemy of British when we were occupied by the british.

Hitler was a RACIST WHITE SUPREMIST! That means he didn\'t like Indians any more than jews. If he could he would have tossed millions of us in the gas chamber too. Like he did to the millions of gypsys, who are closest racially to indians.
If you think he used the swastika because he liked India, you are mistaken. Hitler considered Aryans as a supreme race but all Indians were dirty because they were a mix of tall blond nordic Aryans and the dirty and low indigenous dravidians. Go eat at Hitlers cross if you want. Dont mind if the rest of us think you are morons lacking self-respect!
I will defenitely eat in the restaurent...What does Restaurent name has to do with it..if it has got a nice variety of good food ;-)....I dont see hitler name is doing anything wrong to anyone...Restaurant is not promoting hitler by this..Dont think soo hard guys we have other good things to think :-).
These guys are a bunch of buffoons who have no idea about history ! They want to be different like Hitler ? So they want to be different like Al Qaeda ? ..Why not open a disco names Al Qaeda and we will all dance in there ? How about the Dawood Ibrahim coffee shop and lounge bar ? Read up on some history - even if you have not gone through high school !
As an Indian I have no problem with Hitler, in reality he is more of a hero than the British occupiers who oppresses Indians and pushed us in to the WWII killing thousands of our country men for which we have nothing to do.
