With all due respect all your assertions as to why these youngsters are doing what they are doing are flimsy at best. How can a British born teenager be vengeful enough to blow himself and harm Brithish civilians and establishments just because a neurotic cave dweller says that Britain is harmful to Islams interests. No civilized being will take this step and the fact that these people are brought up in the western world just serves to point at a lurking larger problem which we dont talk about because it is politically incorrect to do so.
Pakistani Muslims in Britain are well off they are well protected by the British government, imagine how easy it would have been for the radical British groups to target the muslim minority after the London train bombings but nothing untoward happened. Even now some good people in the west support the minorities and say no to racial profiling in airports. If the way people repay for all this good will is by blowing things up in countries where they dont belong then they sure as hell are overlooking the section on Gratitude in their hallowed books on whose name they commit these diabolical acts.
I still feel its quite strange.I might sound a bit non democratic and my feelings will sound like a normal anti-pakistani Indian but in this article it seems author is trying to promot kashmir as a bigger home to terrorist actvity than paskistan which i m not comfortable with. He shud understand one thing politically wht US and UK are doing with Afgan and Iraq and now Lebonan. The same thing pakistanis(Musshruff) are doing with India. US and UK are forcing their demand by so called a fight against terrorism Pak is also doing the same thing with the help of so called Independence of Kashmir. If India can track down so many anti-Social grps(Ranveer sena, Naxals, UlFA, LTTE, SIMI) cant pakistan do the same on their land, After so much of pressure from west they have admitted of having few of the many terrorists groups in their country, we have never nurtured LTTE for Sri-Lanka. And thts the diff. between Ind. and Pak. Noe matter wht, India is Way ahead of Pak in Foreign Policies and I am afraid Pakistan will become another Iraq or Afghan. coz wht Bush is doing with Mush, same thing his father had done with Saddam if u see the history. Pak is where US can sell their military scrap.
Hamid Mir is simply confusing the issue & justifying jihad & terrorism. He says , america,britain & now india are solely responsible for the recruitment of jihadis. But who started this grave problem. Not Israel or india! After WW2 israel was given back their land from where they were driven out by the muslim marauders . Just like pakistan occupying kashmir. They are like the kashmir pandits of 2day. What is wrong with that. They never went to war. It was the arab nations who said Israel did not have the right to exist & attacked them. Because america & britain supported them they too became the enemies of the muslim terrorists. Now since india made a nuclear deal with america & because of the gujarat riots, we too are the enemies of islam. What a comedy! When are these guys growing up? These islamic terrorists want to rule the world & that's the truth. And if someone like george bush or blair or advani or manmohan singh stands in the way,just blast them out..in the name of islam!

Hey, dude, again, taking sides with America and Britain! India is attacked because Gujurati's elected back the same chief minister who presided over the killings of nearly 3000 innocent muslims. India is attacked because here, if any CM's state-sponsored riots earn him next 5 yrs of government. So, first find the root cause of any problem, then try to get a solution. Anyway, I fully agree that Terrorism is anti-Islamic and I am sure that if anybody who kills any innocent human being, will go to hell. But just think once, if your mother, father, brother, sister, wife, son, daughter or any dear one is killed by an American or Israeli jet, you'll know why anybody becomes a terrorist forgetting all the sanity and morality.
During interrogation of a suspect police forces all over the world use the good cop bad cop approach to great effect. One officer uplays the "bad cop" threatens and agressively bullies the subject to confess, then the "good cop" approaches and befriends the harried suspect and promises to shield him from the bad cop and its better for him to confess to avoid the bad cop. Bottom line their methods may be different but the cops share the same common agenda. Hamid here, does a great job as a "good cop"!
The author has conveniently replaced the origin of the British muslim men involved in terrorist activities from Pakistan to Kashmir. It shows how desperate Pakistan is right now.
