60 years have passed by, after we broke free from the clutches of the British Administration. Our understanding of Independence is being free from a foreign ruler, an era, were we had been tortured, scandalized with various religious and cultural vendetta. How different are we today? The politicians elected have not shown any concrete measures to tackle Terrorism, Bribes and Illiteracy. The list is countless and so are the examples. We Indians bear a brunt of the governments inefficiency to tackle issues given above.
I am sorry, how can this be tackled when most of the Politicians are already involved in Scams. Religious Riots are sponsored to earn political mileage. Even today we know that no work could be done without offering bribes in Government offices like Sales Tax, RTO, House Registration., etc.
The Government does take any bold decisions towards cross border terrorism, money laundering, bribery, etc., as this may affect them in the next elections or they may be a party in the same. We have always addressed on Tolerance and peace. But today we are paying a cost by repeating the same words. The cost associated is the life of the innocent. Who can we blame?
Isn't caste-based reservation initiated by his government dividing India ?
Surely our PM knows that his govt needs to implement/administer grass root primary/secondary education and healthcare accompanied by financial aid to the economically disadvantaged (which surely includes among others SC, ST and OBC s).
When he became PM, most of us thought his priority was true progress of the masses. His govt's policies are dividing India.
An India with people concerned,like in the Bofors or the Iraq Oil deal ,will get the commission for every nuclear fuel rod imported in the future!!
An India where the control buttons of the country's nuclear security will be handed to the US in a platter for petty reasons (millions)by those who do not believe in its strength nor in its culture ,and those who like tigers in sheepskins profess themselves to be heirs of the (Mahatma)Gandhi legacy, sucking like leeches the lifeblood of the country and the efforts of thousands of its nuclear scientists!!!
