Blast near indian team hotel.
by Ramani.P on Aug 14, 2006 10:27 PM  Permalink

The indian team should return back to their homeland as soon as things are normal, cancelling the trip. i dont think the indian team will be in the right frame of mind to play the tri-series.

security measures
by Ram Ashish Pandey on Aug 14, 2006 07:29 PM  Permalink

I just waould like to say that now a days..security measures are not to the expected level. In srilanka..earlier it happened 4-5 times and twice in Pakistan also when newzeland team left tour in the middle.so the government should take some precautionary measures in advance, then only players can perform and play good .especially they will be mentally free.
Thanks

Blast in Colombo
by Sampathkumar on Aug 14, 2006 07:14 PM  Permalink

I am not what Indian govt is doing with the current crisis in srilanka. I think no one in India is bothered if Tamil poeple are killed or alive or atleast they are living...the worse is the strong presence of Tamil MPs in Indian goverment who seems to be not all bothered by ethnic cleansing act of srilankan government. Terroristic attitude by LTTE in srilanka is condemnable but the life of tamils is very important and in the name of LTTEs Tamilians should not killed and hope Indian govt will awake and stop killing the Tamilians (an act of ethnic cleansing). LTTE act of terrorism targetting innocents should be stopped and concerned should act responsibly.

why this hullabaloo?
by Subramanya Prasad on Aug 14, 2006 07:11 PM  Permalink

why this hullabaloo??? for gods sake ltte has many other places to target, y should they target the indian team? these news channels are short of news 'n wants to make every incident a 'breaking news'... shocking they act in such a stupid way.

in fact sri lankan president's official home was the apparent target or the pak ambassador, the media are playin it out as if the tigers were targetting the indian team....

god... get over this cheap trp raising tactics ndtv, cnn-ibn 'n star news... grow up

A stich in time Saves Nine

Every now and then we hear that innocent people fall victims to terrorist bombings and attacks,Sri lanka is definately not one of the safest places for our team to be in.
Recently we heard that our Master Sachin was on terrorist hit list, our Government should insure that our team is provided the best of security.
With recent incidents of attacks all around the world it seems that some people are really out of their mind. These terrorists are like HIV viruses which get catalyzed by their killings and control and follow ridiculous ideologies.
Indian cricket team is definately one of the Easy targets from these viruses.Let us all be very careful and cautious as we cannot afford to loose our beloved team.

Mohit...
