Excellent begining. Rather than trying to rationalize the terrorism, the author has focussed on the true causes. But one point that the author trips on (to my mind) is trying to tie terrorism to causes like Israel. Israel has every right to attack it Arab neigbors as it is a question of survival. How can anybody say Israel is wrong when all the Arab neighbours plot everyday to kill the Jews? Just because Indians are a bunch of whimps, it does not mean others are too. The response to 7/11 was a height of callousness on the part of Indians. Everybody writes about how Mumbai returned to normalcy the next day. To me that is what is wrong with Indians. Indians are callous and do not care. Indians are selfish and that why India as a nation will suffer due to terrorism. Only when the society cares about it self and protects itself, can it aspire to become a power to reckon with. India does not have any of this. Indians lack honesty in every aspect of their life and extermely apathetic to others. Indians are compromise merchants and that is never a good quality. If any country had a ungrateful Muslim population like what India has, they would have just driven them out.
