It is just a political protocol you idiots. Every country will do in this way, in this type of situation. She came as a UNO representative having protocal of diplomatic staff and immunity. It was just a chance that she was Paki.

PM apologies to Pak activitist
by mala on Aug 03, 2006 11:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Our great ( sic) PM should have touched her feet along with the apologies. We Indians deserve this as along as we are spineless and shameless. A day will soon come to be slaves of Pak because of power monger political leaders in India.

Arre Sunilbahi, it is "that" time! Election time! And to win power our Congress Party needs Muslim votes! So lagao maskaa unako!
Our PM (though a sardaar) is so spineless that the other day one of his (or Sonia%u2019s) chamachaa whisked away the mike from him while he was in the middle of a speech because he heard the sound of %u201Cajaan%u201D from a nearby masjid and our %u201Cgunga guddaa%u201D PM stood there like a dumbo as if he was keeping one minute%u2019s silence in a condolence meeting! What more can we expect from such a kathaputalee PM?

apologise? my foot...size10 at that!!
by ashish on Aug 03, 2006 09:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the prime minister is the representative of this Country first and then anything else be it somebody's friend or colleague or whatever. how can he apologise to some god-knows-who activist and that too of a country which is killing our citizens in the name of jihad??? i am totally dumbfounded at his 'apology'. cmon mr. singh get rid of your milk teeth and nicieties with pakistan once and for all. did usa apologise to you when they frisked and searched like a blood hound our defence minister (george fernandes) when he went to the US ?? its a pity singh has done this crazy act of which he gets famous for with each passing day in this govt. did kasuri apologise to you when he linked the killing of one citizen of your to the so called 'freedom' of another?? cmon wake up india pls before time runs out and people like singh do us in-lebanon style. police did the right thing (for once) and they should be commended for that. every pakistani is our natural enemy dont forget that. and i am not going overboard here - ask the families of the martyrs who laid the lives for their country in wars with pakistan. did the pakis apologise when they sent earless and noseless body of our brave heroes???

by Karthik on Aug 03, 2006 09:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi,
Apology by PM is unwarranted when Pak sponsored militants violating the human rights in Kashmir as well as pak also violating the same humainty in pakistan bykilling other relegion people. Its congress and PM is not ready to fight against Pakistan .They will even surrender India to foreginers

by shrihari on Aug 03, 2006 07:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I don't see any need to apologize (that too by PM). This sends a very wrong signal to Police, who are trying their best ....and if PM keeps on saying sorry to every one, then police won't be able to their job. I just hope that after PM's call, PMO did not "advice" police department to not search any pakistani nationals!!! Poor and soft PM ....there are no other words to describe him

PM's Apology
by saunak on Aug 03, 2006 07:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think PM should not apolozise to that pakistani lady.We have right to check any foreigner to protect the interest of our country. US Prez never apolozied for regorius checking of our our cabinet minister by homeland dept. on US airports. Remember Geroge Fernandes has to go thru that on US airport,it is part of the security system. This PM is hopeless and too soft.God belss India , all Indian pray for have some good strong leder.
