We have to be practical.
by chanakya on Aug 03, 2006 12:52 PM  Permalink

Practical like the Israelis.

".....and the government is continuing to inform the international community of these developments, the Lok Sabha was informed on Wednesday." Quote.

Bharat Varsh made the mistake of taking our "ghar ka maamlaa" (read kashmir issue)to the international community, and the whole nation is still suffering for that terrible mistake.

We must now learn to take cue from similar situations prevailing outside Bharat Varsh.

And the best model would appear to be Israel (not the USA where the top men are always misguided by biased seretaries of state, cia agents with little or no knowledge of the geo-political backgrounds, or the fbi,an fbi which supervises the presidents, too !!!).

Bharat Varsh has to import the men and the manuals from Israel if the desire to eliminate the terrorism is genuine.

Bangladesh is not nuclear...
by satya on Aug 02, 2006 08:24 PM  Permalink

So why not go after Bangladesh and destroy all the terror camps. Afterall BD is not a nuclear power. One less thing to worry is better. I would say apart from Pakistan go after all these other minnows and teach them a frickin lesson they wont forget to not meddle with a giant. And Pakistan we will take care when time comes. We have to defeat Pak in diplomatic ways, causing/funding insurgency within it. btw..How did our great Govt find that there are 52 camps in Pak, using binoculars?

Great, you know the no of camps; you claim to Pakistan in all terrorist attacks in India. Same stuffs we are listing for last almost two decade but what are you doing to stop them.

You are doing nothing, accepts counting camps in Pakistan and giving speech to public to get vote.

A Smart Foreign Policy for India (Humor Intended)
by viji on Aug 02, 2006 08:15 PM  Permalink

India should make an offer of sending units of the Indian army as a Peace-keeping force in Pakistan to help the overworked Pakistani army to fight off the Jihadis who are trying to storm the airbases of Jacobabad, Pasni and Dalbandin. After all Indians have had experience (albeit not so successful) in sending an Indian Peace-Keeping Force (IPKF) in Sri Lanka!

Time to Act
by sajesh on Aug 02, 2006 05:51 PM  Permalink

Is it a proxy war or more than a political game happening in kashmir! We have the arms & potential to smoke any possible treats. Then what r we waiting for?? Or r we providing training grounds in kashmir for making compact efficent army? Its high time to end 58 years of struggle that grinded our economy and interests. Power is proved when its shown!!

lack of political will
by ankur mittal on Aug 02, 2006 05:36 PM  Permalink

Lack of Political Will.. no determination, whatsoever, politics of opportunism... is the way I would sum up the reason for all the terrorist activities in India.
Pakistani terrorists have made inroads in India now... since common man is always the victim adn each blast/ mishappening gives a political party a reason / agenda for next upcoming elections [too frequent these days], even political parties in Indai doesn't seems to be interested in stopping this massacre.
Our country needs revolution, we had thrown out britishers 55 years back, now another fight has to be fought to throw out corrupt to the core politicians, corrupt bureaucrats..

We will not be able to fight terrorism unitl we resolve our internal issues.. we got to be united

Nothing is secret now.
by Bagmar satish C. A. on Aug 02, 2006 05:25 PM  Permalink

During kargil China's 4 sattelites were at service of Pakistan while india lacked Russian feedback as China was provoked by pokhran 2 and Russia was avoided by Vajpeyee govt to please USA.Now also American satelites running into hundreds can read even a wrist watch and can see anybody even in his bathroom or bedroom,America has all close photos of pakistan terrorists camps.Even advani had given all photos of Alquida and Taliban to America. There are reports of even dozen of micto chips fited under bed of China Premier.Russia is far ahead of all in spying.Question is not information but why america is with all double standards when isreal is proactive when its just 2 soldiers are kidnapped by Hezbulla millitants and not by lebanon while isreal kidnaps 7 ministers of palestines and despite Kargil and attack on parliment killing our 5 jawans India was warned not to cross LOC?
Basically Pakistan China and Korea are worried over America finishing Indian sovereignty by this deal and then have bases in India soon. Thus india needs to not look allie of America without sovereignty and raise this issue with America .Nothing is secret now and Jaswant Manmohan over Mole is nonsense.
