India's guilt
by Ravikant on Aug 03, 2006 01:10 PM  Permalink

It is strange that India a peace loving country is responsible to restore peace with a neighbour with a single point agenda to dismember India.
This is simply rediculous. But such is the prevailing ambience of self negation that whatever may happen in our neighbourhood,India is responsible.Whether it is a war in SriLanka, Bangladeshi migrants or Pandit cleansing or the various acts of terror within the country.
God save our country!

I wish India doesnt respond!!
by Sai on Aug 03, 2006 08:44 AM  Permalink

I wish India doesnt respond to this peace process resumption from Pakistan! On one hand, they get into this peace process programme, and in the behind the scenes, they cunningly work for the destruction of India by letting terrorists grow and help them in destroying India!! We Indians should not let these creatures come among us as friends!!!

The ball is not in India's court. ................
by Mr.India on Aug 03, 2006 06:12 AM  Permalink

India made it clear that Pakistan needs to dismantle the terrorist training camps, which they haven't done yet, how can the ball be in India's court?
India should not resume talks. This happened too often. Our idiotic and spineless leaders are still not learning. India has to clearly state that the talks will be resumed only when the terrorist camps are dismantled. As recently as couple of days ago a satellite image of a training camp was produced in a court in California, how can Pakistan deny that they don't have camps? They even made light of the situation by demanding that India close terrorist camp.

Unfortunately our leaders are weak. Our esteemed PM was even willing to give away Siachen but for the intervention of Military. We have minister such as
A.R.Antulay and Arjun Singh are more interested in getting elected, and are willing to sell the country for a buck. Imam Bukari openly said the bomb blast was the deed of Hindus and not muslims. Why hasn't the government taken any action against these people?

I am really beging to doubt the integrity of Indian Muslims. Why are they giving shelter to these criminals in their community? Why are they acting against their own m

Dear Paki Bhai,
You say the ball is in our court..
We dont have Balls...all we have is RESELIENCE.

arent any courts either. Remember when you
sent your folks about 13 years ago to do serial
bombings in Bombay..those guys are still free.
We have one Abu Salem..whom our courts wont allow
to touch him..Dawood is gone to his father in laws
place...and we are all reselient. There are no
balls no courts. Only Hijdas...here..please

''Bagal mein Chaakoo mooh mein Ram''
by Linesh P on Aug 03, 2006 01:53 AM  Permalink

"Bagal mein Chaakoo mooh mein Ram" ,Gods name on the lips and having the concealed weapon... Thats what I would classify the acts of pakistan. We are bleeding, our wounds are being scrached again and again, our Indian government is HELPLESS. It has neither the Guts, nor the commitment to fight back. I am sure our helpless Indian government will go for talks and return with everything in pakistan's favour. Then why on Earth don't you hand over kashmir to pakistan? Why should you keep on getting us Indians killed? Then slowly one by one all the Indian states will be pakistanised. I really appreciate Pakistan's GUTS. I really feel ashamed to be an Indian. Rather my blood boils every time a life is lost in these terrorist attacks and our Indian HELPLESS government looks on helplessly. Look what Israel is doing. My heartfelt congragulations to them. Keep it up..

Ball is in India's court
by S.Ramaswamy on Aug 02, 2006 11:41 PM  Permalink

If the ball were in India's court as is claimed let us keep it here.It does not serve any purpose by returning it. The insincerety of Pakistan is apparent. They are the ones who are organising the terrorist attacks. Financial and political support is given to the terrorist organisation
We should refue to talk to them unless this conrn of India is addressed
The official US does not agree that the terrorist camps exist as far as attacking India is concerned. But is willing to wail about the exietence of terrorist camps directed against US
Despite the claims by NDA when it was in power and the present UPA,it is the unseen hand of the US that is driving us to talk to Pak. We do not dare to defy the US
US works for Pakistan. In its calculation only Pak is a reliable partner in its geo-political hegemonic ambitions
Let us confront Pakistan instead of consorting with them in the name of purposeless peace talks in which we are sure to be maade to lose mor than we gain

Re:Ball in India's court:Pakistan
by Archana Nayak on Aug 02, 2006 11:40 PM  Permalink

When is the ball ever in Pakistan's court?? They are still carrying on with their terrorist infrastructure, have no plans whatsoever of dismantling it and during every India-Pakistan talk, they keep telling us that the ball is in our court. After Kargil, after several bomb blasts in mumbai, they have the gall to tell us the ball is in our court. Its high time our government stood up and said that the ball is in their court and will remain there till they hand over the Indian criminals who are hiding in Pakistan and that they dismantle the terrorist camps in their country.

Unhappy
by Vijay on Aug 02, 2006 10:58 PM  Permalink

I am very unhappy with the way Rediff currently handles publication of messages by readers. You take a horribly long amount of time in publishing them even if you do at all (and currently you mostly don't publish at all). This is very inconvenient for readers who want to find out if their messages have been posted or not. It has become a big dampener for people who want to make a difference by making their opinions seen along with the articles. Atleast I have had enough of it and will cease to put my opinions and moreover also boycott this website. You must know that I not only visit this site frequently but also make a lot of online purchases on your shopping section. Too bad you will lose an important customer like me, it is for you to decide. You are only a fledgling company with little profits and you can't afford this at this stage. So, please change you policy. Afterall we the readers (and shoppers) are the most important people for you (aren't we?).

Talk With Pakistan
by Vishal Pandya on Aug 02, 2006 10:38 PM  Permalink

It is quite amazing that while we are facing biggest crisis of our existence and protection ,we still are taking the way of talk with Pakistan.

Pakistan will never become an ideal neighbour in coming years and never It had been so in past. This will be our foolishness to talk with Pakistan while we have ample evidence that Pakistan is playing major role in damaging India.

We must take the way Israel is adopting in fighting with its enimies. Once you teach Pakistan an unforgetable lesson, Then we will have some peace for a short time in Continent.

Pakistan must be taught such a lesson so it even does not think of India.

There should not be any talk with a cunning neighbour. We ahve capacity to disappear pakistan on world map. Use It.
