Suryanarayana killed
by C.Sasidharan on May 01, 2006 10:20 AM  Permalink

It was heart rendering scenes at the Hyderabad residence of Suryanarayana. Most and horrendous inhuman act - depriving young kids their father at such a tender age. Let God give enough courage to the bereaved family to withstand the irreparable loss.

Shame on Humanity!!!
by Srini on May 01, 2006 10:20 AM  Permalink

Taliban's killing of Suryanarayana is a shame on humanity. Not justifiable by any measure..least of all by the calls of Jihad. What kind of people kill unarmed innocent civilians? Ones who are coward and have no balls to fight their cause in a righteous fashion.

We, Indians, have borne the brunt of terrorism for quite a long time. I guess it is time to take proactive steps and strike at them now...be they the pakistan sponsored groups or the eunuchs calling themselves Taliban. Take the fight to them so that they know the repercussions of kidnapping an Indian. Unless, govt formulates a response this will not be the last such killing.

The family deserves all the sympathy and support it can get! Let God provide them with enough strength to overcome this crisis.

Suryanaryana's Family.....Pain only they know and feel
by H. S. Dhingra on May 01, 2006 10:10 AM  Permalink

No words will console, comfort... Suryanaryana's Family. They only kno the pain and hurt... Nothing can bring back the lost sul.... they have to be brave enough to face the loss and tragedy.
God is there and he has got his own ways of squaring up the matters with the culprit who can not be called human by any scale. Even a poisonous snake will not harm u unless it feels threatened from someone....these Talibanies etc, etc .so called millitants will pay for the misdeed they have done.
The family will have to unite to be eachother streangth to start the life again....which is more difficult than said.

Time and again it has been proved that Govt is useless when it comes to common man where as they have themselves protected by the Tax payers moneyof commoner like Surynaryanan... and others. Down with the Govt. for giving aid to country where its citzens dedicated in the process of making there people life comfortable

Me and my family join in to pray for the departed soul and for the family to bear the loss unitedly with full faith in God... because he will definatly do the justice. With warm regards
H S Dhingra and family

How Long???
by indian citizen on May 01, 2006 09:58 AM  Permalink

The scene of grief stricken shattered family of Engineer Late. K.Surnarayna is yet another pathetic tale of helplessness of we Indians.

Foreign diabolical creatures kill us in our own market places, temples, railway stations and even in educational campuses. They kill us so easily within our country...outside outside country. And what follows...just condemnation by our 'high powered' leaders, words of 'heart-felt' sympathy and some ex-gratia.

We are now no more than those bird flu chickens who can be killed any time anywhere by anyone for any reason. Its 'India shining' or 'India bleeding'?

History will remember us...as an extinct breed of mankind who were so obsessed with idealogy of peace and non-violence that there seemed not much difference left between tolerance and cowardice.

Leaders may come and leaders may go...but the Indian blood keeps on flowing.

How long?

Suryanarayana
by kumar on May 01, 2006 08:50 AM  Permalink

It's a barbaric act. And, the taliban has proved once again that they are incapable of doing anything concrete for the welfare of mankind. The seemingly endless act of terrorism makes one feel whether it is indeed necessary for the Indian companies and workforce to take up assignments in that region. Sure, one should not bow to terrorism and call it quits but no family would like one of its members to lose his life when in his prime.
