I think the Indians know they don't really need to have this deal, as they don't have so much to gain, other than the fact that the world's only superpower had taken the trouble to try and broker this controversial N-deal. OK, so the US Congress doesn't approve the deal - big deal! There's still other very important issues that both nations can work on to their mutual benefit.
As India is already emerging as a powerful economy US will never pass this bill and make India even stronger in the Subcontinent. As much as US wants to promote India against China, it will never go this far.
US Govt. cares less about India or all Indians living in US.
All that will come of this exxcercise is that some lobbyists will make money and share it will US snators and India will get zilch out of the Deal. Mark my words....Send me an email if the Nuc Deal goes through. I guaratee it will never go through.
