I dont think Rahul can revive Congress in UP at the moment.
The reason is the strong existance of local parties, and the local parties have their solid vote bank. One thing that these parties lack is Glamour... Rahul will bring that much needed glamour in those rural areas and will get benefitted to some extent... but finally its the connectivity that matters; He has to strenthen routes, he has to connect himself to a common man.
Once he is able to do so he can revive congress in UP and it will definitly take some time.. So dont except much from him in these elections
yes ,if congress is to revive it has to do well in hindi heartland.that has been away from them for almost two decades,its high time someone come forward and take the responsiblity,and who else would be better than the gandhis them self .i wish young rahul the very best,and to take the battle in the hindi heart land on his own shoulder.
If any individual or family can do the things, we would not require a democracy. We would have continued with Royal touch! In democracy any party can come to power provided it is cadre base. Whether congress has cadre based structure? Rahul, Priyanka, Sonia, etc., can gather crowd to meetings, not votes in polling. It is the party worker and trust of the voter on party brings the votes. At lease now in 21 century / age of computers these parties should work sincerely for the people for getting on to power.
He is having that much Cherishma and ability. Not only he can change the fortunes of Congress in U.P but also in INDIA once he is given proper Post. Because INDIA needs YOUNG BLOOD .
