Quite unlikely. In UP, what matters today is caste......Rahul Gandhi is not a backward caste and can't claim to be one too. If development mattered in elections, in UP and elsewhere, India would have been a different place.
so long as congress take us appeasing muslims in the name of secularism and continue using minorities against the major community, congress won't last for long. a party should live on the strength of its principles and not on a familyname. if rahul falls flat then what happens to congress?
He can improve the party position in UP by 25-30%. But he does not have any kind of magic touch that just in over night he can bring the party in top gear. Slowly slowly congress will improve his position in his leadership. definetly party can do better in his leadership in UP than any other leader of congress.
yes,though it is difficult task but nothing is impossible.for revival of congress grassroot level working is required and new leadership should be encouraged.simply ignore those who have deserted the party create new leadership for longterm benefits as the results would be possitive only by new creations.
yes. rahulji has a very close and heart-touched relation with the people. every thing he is doing with a human touch and so he has very good understanding on feelings of people. Further every one wants his success in political life. I also want to see him as the PM of India.
