i dont think rahul can do justice to this tough task at all.UP politics is much more complicated SP BSP BJP are still there...How congress will get back...might be charisma of Priyanka can do that....
Rahul Gandhi has expressed his desire but its more of an emotional gesture than a full fleged War-cry. Congress in UP is in tatters and the masses in UP hinterland want someone whom they can connect to. War scarred politicians like Mulayam Singh and Mayavati have been very judiciously mixing and matching the caste equations to even bring BJP to its knees in the Hindi Heartland. At this point of time Rahul is not a larger than life figure like NTR (AP) or MGR (Tamilnadu) who had mass sways. Anyways nobody ever has managed to win UP without having mastered the caste equations. I really doubt Rahul ability this time round, having said that I really would feel that Rahul should devote his time fully on UP politics to really master the art in the toughest battle field.

Sir, With reference to your caption and message. I wish to bring to your notice that David conquered Goliath. David was an ordinary youth and Goliath was 9inch Tall gigantic Man.But the Bible say Goliath was defeated by David. So Rahul can bring the change in UP.And Rahul can bring in innovation in indian Politics. David ruled Isreal for 40. Why not Rahul.And he is our favourite Politician.
whether Rahul can or not its a far question.but, why he was given this responsiility this is the main question.Till now he has not shown any sign of new Indian Rang De Basanti team. but, it seems so that he is just passing the time in the parliament or in U.P.Because deep in his heart he knows that this very seat is his(Family heritage).He will definetly revive win because everything of of congress is his whether it is now or after ten twenty years.so Rahul keep going on.........
Rahul Gandhi though honest and straight forward can not revive congress in UP. Gone are days when there used to be only one party. You have already 3 parties sharing the cake -SP,BSP & BJP.
Congress/Rahul's writ only works in Rai Bareley, Amethi and to some extent in Allahabad.
The cycophants in Congress seem to be jubiliant that because of Rahul, they can make merry
