Its amazing and highly regarded that Narmada Bachao Andolan has the endorsee in the form of the most admired and most thinking actor of Indian cinema of today's times....Aamir Khan! The joining of bangwagon against the said project for getting the justice of those likely to be affected in the anticipation of raising the height of the dam... Aamir's stand in the protest has made this andolan one that can't be ignored by any politician, political party or any against the dislocation of the affected human beings! Fact that Aamir will never do it just for the recognition and publicity of any sort, as he doesnt care for same neither he needs at this level of his professional career, is known by one and all who would like to see their thinking icon take a stand for those who are victimised to the core in this project! My personal appreciation for Aamir's committment as an citizen of this country and for those who have been fighting for the cause since the time it has been planned! The best illustration was Babri Masjid demolition adn Gujarat riots. Their counter-part in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena did the same in 1992 riots. What i wish to ask these so-called protectors of indian culture and pro-hindus, why target only a select few? First it was MF Hussain, then Aamir Khan and now it is Dia Mirza. It is nothing but a most shameful act on their part to target a community that has never ever wronged these so-called fundamentalist. they have put India to shame.
Sardar Sarovar Dam is only a sham excuse for them to vent their ire on the muslim community. I don't think they are really concerned about the well being of any particular state or community.
