Pramod Mahajan is one of India's young and forward looking political leaders who do not carry any of the old mindset prejudices with him. What has happened with him is horrifying. We all pray his health improves, and he returns to his old dynamic self.
This is to bring to your attention a major mistake in the report. It reads "and they were hopeful that he would recover from the illness.". Mind you Mahajan is not suffering from any "illness", you don't fall "ill" when you are shot at. He'd been seriously "injured" and his family is hopeful that "he would recover from the injury."
