It is very sad and unfortunate, that Mr Pramod Mahajan was shot by his brother for some silly reason. Pramod Mahajan, throughout his career, as a BJP topman taught the whole country to hate Christians and Muslims and encouraged the Agenda of Hindutva without realising the seeds of hate were growing within his own family,and as a result Praveen has shot Pramod. It is hightime We remember the words of Jesus" Put your swords back in its place, All who use swords will be killed with swords"(mathew 26.52) It is a real irony that Chtistian Doctors from UK and Australia most of them are Christians and Dr Muhammed have arrived from outside to treat a persom who hated both Muslims and Christians. I now realise the healing power of Jesus, who will surely heals Pramod Mahajan, if he surrenders to Christ and prays him.
While we must all feel sorry for Pramod Mahajan, and wish for his speedy recovery, one is left wondering at what is happening in the Polity of this nation.
The party that has cried itself hoarse over Ram Rajya, has obviously not adopted the guiding principles of Sri Ram in their day to day lives.
We could argue that his brother did what he did in a fit of mental illness, but the fact remains that Sri Mahajan was evidently not devoting as much time and attention to family affairs, as he should have. Indians are family centered, and all other affairs are secondary. To mouth platitudes to the family in public, and be not committed to solving family difficulties in private, shows the makings of a hypocritical attitude.
One wonders how many of our bright young politicians are going through the same thing? We all need to be careful of TV reality, and real life, which is often harsh and unforgiving.
The Pramod Mahajan incident seems to be anywhere.I cannot even watch TV as its all over.What is so important that the whole nation and politicians are fighting to be seen and heard at this indident when we have people dying on the strets everywhere.Just because Mr. Mahajan happens to be only a pilitician and whatever happen to any of these politicians and politics are none of our concern and worries.It irritates the normal working class people and i hope Rediff will give less importance to such person/incidents.It does not matter if he survive or not but please spare us.There are better things to concentrate.
Someone must have heard of a person who is stable, can also be critical. Guess Pravin Mahajan would be getting a Congress ticket for teh forthcoming elections.
