by RAMANA on Apr 21, 2006 05:48 PM  Permalink

dear sir,

dont worry! we will have another hostile neighbour in our neighbourhood. bangladesh, pakistan, srilanka, china and now nepal. Bangladesh, nepal, pakistan of course are under active control of ISI. we may have to put another border like the one we have with pakistan. it is imminent. It is time we also should be prepared for retaliation. recently indian labourers, businessmen have been thrashed and kicked out from nepal as per news reports. china and pakis are actively behind maoist upsurge. i am surprised at the kind of brutality they are showing during their attacks on nepalese army. we have to be on our gaurd.

India should take the situation in Nepal Seriously
by Govind Sharma on Apr 21, 2006 05:40 PM  Permalink

Dear Friends
I am very concerned about whole the developments happening in Nepal.
I don't understand what is the problem of India and our India Government and those who make foreign policy of India?
When Pakistan denied rights to his citizens of east pakistant (now Bangladesh) With using army and power India made it freedom
Today Nepal is in crisis. There are maoists who don't want to keep any type of relationship with India, there are some other people whoare just opprtunists
Today condition has worsen. Many Nepalese people's wrongly assuming that India is their enemy
If Government of India shows such inactivity, either we have to loose a friend or we have to face a problem.
UPA government is totally inactive regarding this. Media must play crucial role for this

Regards
Govind

Nepal crisis - India's role
by Naveen on Apr 21, 2006 05:19 PM  Permalink

Revenge of Sonia Gandhi for being not allowed to enter the Pasupathinath temple. We all must remember that the same incident had led to month long economic blockade of nepal by India in mid 1980's when Rajiv was the prime minister. And definitely Pope sitting in Rome (Italy) wants its pupils to change the only surviving Hindu monarchy country after the conquest of Hindu majority democracy.

un-warranted fear

Do not agree as India did the right thing by not arming the King or sending peace keeping forces. It is an internal matter of Nepal and India must respect which ever party comes to power. The people of India and Nepal have a close bond which will remain. What will really influence the region is the booming economies of China and India. India to continue to have this bonding must economically do whatever it can to better the lot of the Nepalese people so that they do not look to China. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses and Nepal will not ever forget that China annexed its neighbour Tibet and unlike India has a very strong army and Tibet is next door.
India has not harmed the people and not sided with the king either so thats that. Continue to extend the hand of friendship and be considerate and helpful.
Lift the people of Nepal we share a comon script and culture.
