A nasty piece of work. Before commenting about the smell of others please take a look at the digested waste behind your back. All snakes are not poisonous but defenitely no one will put his hand inside a snake pit to prove the point.
It is a sad state of affairs that in a culturally enlightened and a modern city like Bombay, a Muslim family has to undergo such humiliation. We should not go into Muslim history, to discuss housing in a modern and cosmopolitan setup. It is a fact that in Bombay new residential buildings have come up in areas, especially in the extended suburbs, where housing is meant for certain communities only. In a way, we are isolating ourselves into our own private ghettos.
Oh nothing much, he's just angry that he couldnt find a house. All his reasons and theories sound so flimsy-he's just using his freedom of expression.
Thoughts like this are disturbing Syed, becoz u r addressing a global picture with the background of a tiny miniscule incident.I have more muslim friends than any other and I have lived with them for years. I didnt see any "residues of the riot"! I have gone to mosques and prayed with them. You wonder why? Obviously, the good relations I have with my muslim brothers doesnt mean its a worldwide Hindu-Muslim harmony.Well, almost coz a couple of my Pakistani brothers helped me out in a foriegn country after they knew I was a hindu Indian. They addressed me "bhai" thruout the conversation which I too reciprocated. What do you have to say about this? That its an isolated incident?Well, then so is yours!
You should understand the consequences of statements you make and be more responsible when targetting something as beautiful as human relationships with the backdrop of religion. Not fair! For more, watch the movie China gate where Naseer(Shahnawaz) confronts Amrish Puri (Col.Puri)
