Don't support this deal
by Pranav Agarwal on Apr 10, 2006 09:47 AM  Permalink

I would say don;t support this deal unless the law on 50% reservation has not been taken back. A government who can pass such an outrageous law is in so situation to address such an important issue like N-deal with US. I would say NRI's should ask for a show cause notice from Indian government before extending their support on this matter.

'' NRI vital to Indo -US N-deal''
by P.J.LAKHAPATE on Apr 10, 2006 09:44 AM  Permalink

Now America wants to sell Nuclear Energy Technology to India.

Is Nuclear Energy Environmental froendly ?

Any mistake / malpractice will lead to tremendous environmental damage.

We Indians should review this critically.

The politicians should not take technical decisions.

All technical experts should put their opinions for public awareness.

Australia has built Solar Chimney for 250 MW power.
It will operate day and night to generrate power.

It uses Solar as well as Wind Energy priciples.
Further Nano-Technology is being utilised for improving Power Plant efficiency.

NRI Role in N-Deal
by Chandra on Apr 10, 2006 03:52 AM  Permalink

It's very funny to me that in India they feel NRI's are like second rate citizens. We have no voting rights as other democratic nations provide for there Citizens overseas. They insult us by name calling like NRI = to NON REQUIRED INDIANS.
I as a NRI for decades have only projected the best to my US counter part but in return Indians from India treat us like crap.
Why should we do any thing to lobby the N-Deal when we cant even vote.
I feel like Indian Gov they just want to use us.
