I think India has its own voice of foreign policy as far as its security is concerned. But what is more important is that we being the secular & democratic as well as federal country, should have a natural inclination and relationship with the same type of country. Our governing system by and large related to that of USA. Not only that, our constitution is also related with their's; from the very begining of its inception. So we cann't adjust with the communistic patern of system, nor does we can adjust with the morachy type of system. But at different time we naturally needs their association also for our greater foreign policy. But most important to that we are having a natural ally and friendly system like that of USA. So democratic, secular and opened USA is just what we should make our natural ally nor does the closed and tight communistic patern of society, where we should keep low profiled association and angagement.
Our real wisdom lies in the convey the message to America properly that he should not be gutsy enough to give such a dictation to the biggest sovereign democratic country in the world.
If USA wants to live in fool' parodise that India shall quntify its deterrent by calling China as threat,it is upto USA. But if Usa pays 500 billion dollars in advance for this contract killing of China by India as Bush is selling to USA congress ,India may reconsider.
We should have the guts to tell the USA that the credible minimum nuclear deterrance India ought to possess is the capability to nuke every city in the USA. Americans are thorough bred rascals; never to be trusted and should be handled firmly. The day is not far off when the Chinese are going to kick the US in the back and the US would sooner than later come running to us - India. colonelrajan@rediffmail.com
