I know it hurts when something that you have believed in so fanatically over the last 2006 years is torpedoed.True you do not have to believe it.But atleast open your eyes and listen to things with an open mind. Be inquisitive about histroy...because history is never truly understood till read, or told by an impartial source.Unlike our governments which over the years have pontified and sanctified cowards, without rhyme or reason, be more intellectually reasoning.Otherwise there is no sense in being called the literate mass. As for what judas did, and what the bible has told...please remember, as in the controversial book, "The Bible did not come by Fax from heaven". It was written and compiled by Human Beings.
Matt 27:3 calls Judas "the betrayer". And v5 says that he went & hanged himself. Judas, the betrayer, died before the Gospel of Matthew was written by Matthew himself, an eye-witness, & a co-apostle with Judas Iscariot who died in the 1st century. Scientists have established that carbon dating puts the date of writing of the Gospel of Judas at the 3rd or 4th century AD. Will somebody stand up to tell me if Judas hanged himself & died, did he also resurrect himself in the 3rd or 4th century to write his own gospel? In the aftermath of the controversies surrounding the Da Vinci Code & many proofs esatblishing that it is nothing but a work of the author's imagination, the Gnostic Gospels written much after the times of Christ & never accepted in the Cannon of the Church, are being given quite unneccary & undue importance. Ofcourse, the value to the press is immense! A lot of unregenerate authors have jumped onto the bandwagon to make a few quick bucks out of this but to me, Jesus Christ is real, He is my Saviour & no matter how much of a brouhaha is made, the ridiculous stands out.
YES Juda is a traitor. He betrayed jesus & sold jesus for 30 silver coins. If he has been adviced by Jesus to betray him then WHY he hanged himself after betraying him????
We Christians knew that these kind of false doctrines, false prophets will arise because years befor Jesus said this. So we will not give away our faith of Jesus & we will never accept that Juda was not a trator or he has been adviced by jesus to betray him.....
Friends, Judas was a traitor & the Bible prophecied almost 1000 of years that Jesus would be betrayed by a man among the inner circle of the Messaih for 30 sheckels of silver. Judas fufilled that prophecy to the last detail. The Bible also prophecied of scoffers springing up during the end times. The Messiah birth & ministry were predicted to the exact date, 500 years before his birth in the book of Daniel, and His second coming will be nothing less. His first coming was as a suffering Messiah, but in His second coming, He returns as a glorious King to Judge. Please understand the sign & times you live in, read the scriptures and save yourself from the Wrath that is to follows. Do not let this news sidetrack you from the ONLY path that God made available to mankind, and that is to through the Blood of His Son Jesus, who in dying upon the Cross became the perfect sacrificial lamb that restored fallen man with an Holy God. The Bible says that Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus.Galatians 2,16: "KNOWING THAT A MAN IS NOT JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, BUT BY THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST".
