Beware
by Alby Mathew on Apr 08, 2006 09:47 PM  Permalink

For those of you who deem it necessary to put in such a notice or who find that Judas Iscariot did not infact betray Jesus, please beware that you are treading troubled waters. I am sure that you are well aware of the fact that you are crossing the path of the omni potent one. For all Christians, this may be a testing time where people ask you questions directly relating to your faith. Take pride in knowing Jesus, who you talk to everyday. Dan Brown, who I'm sure is part of a secret society minced words to near perfection, but never once revealed why Mary Magdalene referred to Jesus as "Saviour". According to Brown, the female divine is the true God, and the Holy Grail is her writings and her bones. But she still refers to Christ as Saviour. As for Judas who committed suicide soon after the betrayal, it is most certain he did it out of guilt. The other four GOSPELS (good news) which are part of the Holy Bible declare it to be so. After all how can it be called a gnostic GOSPEL if it does not have good news. The other four Gospels which are part of the Bible, though they have different stories all come out with the exact same message. Christ was betrayed. HE NOW LIVES!!!!

Judas - money-minded
by Jijo Pappachan on Apr 08, 2006 09:08 PM  Permalink

hi, I do not think this is true. The Gospels say Judas was money-minded. And, for money, he betrayed the Master. All the four Gospels say Judas was a betrayer. This is satan's trick.

Jesus came with a mission sent by God
by samson on Apr 08, 2006 08:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hello Everyone
Jesus was sent by God the Father to this world with a mission to save each and everyone-born and yet to be born. Jesus knew each and every move of his life. His birth, life style, betrayel by Judas, suffering on the cross and resurrection are told in prophecies 800 years before his birth. So Jesus is not an ordinary man. HE is the son of God who created you and me. His mission is to save us from this sinful and dangerous world and betrayel by Judas is part of the plan of God. For this Jesus need not tell to Judas to betray him when betrayel is part of plan of God. He came with that plan. And moreover the so called Gospel of Judas tells nothing big and I feel nothing new in this. So this is not going to bring any cofusion or division in the world. Moreover this is not the Gospel which means Good News. Jesus birth, death and resurrection is the Good news. Betrayel of Judas was not the good news and infact it was the bad news for Judas himself who after betrayel killed himself due to guilty conscience. So readers please be clear in your mind that betrayel by Judas is part of the master plan of the world's greatest planner- God the Father. dont waste ur time.TRUST AND OBEY.

Authenticity of the Book of Judas.
by Jerald on Apr 08, 2006 07:22 PM  Permalink

As it is a known fact that all the books in the New Testament that is, Mathews, Luke etc are not written by the original appostles. They were written by followers of christ upon revelations from God. so it means that these books are not written when Jesus was with his Disciples. Also record clearly stste Judas's death. I dont totslly disagree with the authenticity of the Book, but it could have been an imagination or a revelation to someone who placed their view point on Judas. If Judas had'nt died he would have been the first appostle. But since due to his suicidal death he was ignored and hated.
The Truth lies with God. Anyhow the Book is worth a lot to Historians but not to Christians because the Message of Christ is not in it.

Judas Gospel! Is there anything more to come
by jonah mano on Apr 08, 2006 06:45 PM  Permalink

Bible says in the epistle of Paul that even if an angel would come and present a gospel contrary to the one which already is, believers mustn't have to accept. Jesus did say in the Gospel that Judas was the traitor and it was better that he shouldn't have born. So no need to panic!
