In the last days
by Samuel Motghare on Apr 13, 2006 11:58 AM  Permalink

john1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2PETER 2:1 But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away...8 And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.
9 But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be.

All coptic gospels are to lead people away from the TRUTH
by steve Fernandes on Apr 12, 2006 05:39 PM  Permalink

What a load of Gibberish. Judas could never write a the gospel b/c he committed suicide immediately after Jesus condemnation. This shows that there are sinister forces in the coptic world who want to lead people astray. Above, should be an insight that all other coptic gospels are FAKE with the intention of leading the truth astray.

Very Pathetic
by Satesh Edwin on Apr 12, 2006 10:25 AM  Permalink

It is rather surprising that one person has posted his response as 'As long as people are bound by faith... were divine or not'

It is very important to follow 'only' a divine person and not otherwise. How can a person who is not divine lead another to divinity? Hence Jesus said in Luke 6:39 'Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch (or hell)?'

Today, there are so many blind faiths and many people following them blindly because of traditon, culture, learnt from forefathers, etc. They don't start to reason about their fatih, do not question the blind beliefs and they compare Jesus and the Bible to this blind beliefs and then come out with suggestions and remarks.

I once listened to a woman who said, "everyone who lives with 'name' and 'fame' is a god". How pathetic. We have already degraded man as an animal and we teach our children in schools that man evolved from animal. Now we degrade 'God' as man. There are already so many 'man made gods' to degrade God as man

It is stronlgy reccomended that every reader follows only a divine person, and not be bound by 'tradition, 'faith' etc.

Better read the Bible fully before making any remarks

Judas fulfilled his prophesied role
by Alan Rego Nayak on Apr 11, 2006 11:50 PM  Permalink

Judas committed suicide almost immediately after selling his Master for money. It is thus impossible for him to have written any such "gospel" (Gospel means "good news", and what's good about this?)nor is it possible for any of his "followers" to have written it, since he obviously had none after aforementioned suicide. He played his role in betraying Christ for money, as had been prophesied hundreds of years earlier (Zechariah11:12).He had his choice to be used as a tool of Satan or a trusted servant and friend of his Master. Christ similarly died for the salvation of mankind as fulfillment of prophesies. You know His choice.
Dan Brown writes his books based on apocrypha for money, and all the media do the same. For the love of money is the root of all evil. Where do you stand in relation to the Master who bought you by His own precious body and blood?

gospel of Judas
by Franklin Samraj on Apr 11, 2006 05:36 PM  Permalink

It is fascinating to know of the gospel. We need the full text for complete comprehension of the theology involved in the text. If the dating is around 3rd cent. A.D. it is quite possible that this was written by a person other that Judas promoting further controversies to the existisng ones at that time with respect to the nature of Jesus Christ. Church historians can recall the formation of the Nicene creed was at this time too. There were a lot of heresies at that time.

In any case the work of Judas in betraying Jesus is an act that sealed the fate of Judas. Irrespective of the fact that Judas betrayed or not Jesus would have to die, die by any method either natural or by a criminal act for the Lamb to be slain for the remmission of sins.

Let the scholars release the text and let the text speak for itself is my request at this time.

Judas
by zac on Apr 11, 2006 08:28 AM  Permalink

Wat if Judas was not a betrayer.
Wat if Jesus asked Judas to deliver him from the human form.
Wat if Judas didnt actually hang him self.
is this going to change my faith....I dont think so.

By the way.....every book...repeat,every book you read is edited, for the benefit of the reader.
