New revelations ambigous
by Vinu Joseph on Apr 07, 2006 05:22 PM  Permalink

All four Gospals clearly mention Judas as a traitor, not just because he handed over Jesus to the soldiers, but because at last supper Christ informed Judas about his future deed, and also said "It would have been better if the traitor was not born". Secondly any secrets between Christ and Judas would not have ended in Judas talking his life ultimately. Even if there is a new Gospal, it is still against the common four. At the end its the faith that prevails not any revelations.

Judas
by John on Apr 07, 2006 05:21 PM  Permalink

Judas ... every human is in todays life one way or the other a traitor.... in fact it was said that Jesus the Son of God was sent to be crucified and to Die for Our Sins then why on earth and how on earth could Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins if it was not for the act of Judas.....

Last Days
by Parag Pawar on Apr 07, 2006 05:19 PM  Permalink

These are last days, coming of Jesus Christ is very soon, as mentioned in the Bible such misleading new ,false gods should not be a surprise. It is mentioned in the Revelation, the last book of New Testament , addition or deletion of a single word will be punishable, whatever written in the BIBLE is complete , so the news of gospel of judas is just move of satan to mislead people.

Judas so called gospel changes nothing
by marwin on Apr 07, 2006 05:18 PM  Permalink

how can people buy into the words of a liar, the fact remains that judas sold jesus for a price. also it makes no sense why jesus, who spoke of life would want to arrange for his execution. why did judas then take his own life, if he was serving a higher purpose? it seems that people over the past few years have become fascinated with tarnishing the image of jesus and this is just another brick in the wall.

just note the timing of this 'gospel'
by naresh on Apr 07, 2006 05:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel that it has a lot to do with the controversy of the book "the da vinci code ",a move to indicate that there were missing gospels .
It is a bid to authenticate the false notions of people ,a move which is ironically predicted in the bible itself.

Up until now, humans have always believed what they wanted to believe!!! So it is not going to prove anything from the agnostic side to the believing side or vice versa! Both are not going change their views radically, depending on some "document" found in Egypt and which might be good too...

Judas
by Sam Mathew on Apr 07, 2006 04:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have read this so-called gospel and I have a copy of it bought from Higginbothoms. It is also available in the net. The one I have is a clear fake. It is blasphemous, right from the immaculate conception till the crucifixion. In fact I recommend it to be banned. To avoid others reading it, I bought all the copies that were available in the book shop. I am not sure whether it is the same they are talking about now.
