when four Authentic proven gosples says without any contradiction that Judas is traitor... why should one believe the fith so called gospel which is not sure about its authentication, period, translated etc... Even if someone can prove that fith gospel is right job is not over, they should disprove existing four gospels which says contradictory to what is so called Judas gospel... I think man who doesn\\\\\\\'t want to obey to the truth always search for what is false and end up finding numerous gospels, gods.. ofcourse finally ends up in Hell. If one is sincere in searching the truth, then can very well start with Time tested, People from across geographies tested gospels.
This new discovery of the gospel and books like Da Vinci Code only shows how the dark forces are trying to gain a false victory and try to change people mindset.
How much evidence man strives to find against what is there in the Bibleto the extent that any book, with its preface explicitly declaring it to be 'a novel' and that questions the contents of the Bible, will be gladly welcome by even those who would never have even touched the Bible!!
Why not READ the Bible first and try to reason out or find evidence for what is IN it than for what would seem to be against it?
I think these things which surface once in a while (like Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code), put in doubts the ideas of the times. It creates chaos in the minds of the believers. The phiosiophy of religion should not lead to politics of religion. Religion should not be used for the indivisual benefit. Maybe Judas was a superhero, the chosen one, maybe the other Gopels wanted their name to be imprinted in history , but who cares. The ultimate truth is of sacrifice. Nobody knows whether Judas failed or worked under God's decree. The salient point is Jesus could have done whatever possible to save himself looking into the fact that he had immense powers or powers of God delivered unto him, but he didn't do that. Then the IMPACT would have been missing. But still the agency of Judas was required. The message is clear, the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of the Son of God. Judas and other gospels are just pawns in the major PLAY of GOD. For us its just an illusion. Off course its always interesting to go into the details of ancient history, but I sincerely doubt whether any change can come in contemporary christian theology due to this. A second reformist is difficult to accept in todays' world.
Whether Judas betrayed Jesus or was compelled to do so doesnt matter since his act revealed the TRUTH, that Jesus is the God and hence we became Christians.
