Judas was youngest apostle of Jesus. A young mind is always indecissive.A young mind is always an easy bait for temptation.Judas was one of those. He feel pray to the bribe he was offered for 30 pieces of silver in exchange of handing over Jesus for crucifixtion. If Judas would have not cheated Jesus,he would never feel guilty, and since Judas DID feel guilty...he hanged himself and commited suicide in order to get rid of his guilt and hide away from it.This new dicovery of innocence of Judas is nothing but a farce and illegal means of shaking someones faith. A person who is strong in the faith of Jesus will never fall prey to such piece of crap which has no head nor tail! Its all a hoax and farce and I strongly urge all Christian brothers and sisters to ban this peice of information and not entertain it in your Church. It is the work of the devil and we will not let the devil prosper in the Kingdom of Jesus and our Heavenly Father. In the name of the Father,Son and Holy Spirit...Amen!
Believe in the Bible only: nothing else and no one else! God gave us this book to teach us how to live on this earth and then He sent us His son to show us the true way to follow in His footprints.Jesus is God's only son who could be sacrificed for our uncleanness and He was sacrificed for our sins. The Bible is the only true book that we as Christians need to follow and God has already given all that we need to profess(follow) in our lives on this earth, in this wonderful book.So anything else that comes after is of no eternal value.

Swarna...golden thoughts those...but hey, aren't you missing the point? Who wrote the Bible? Man. God did not write it. Believing only in what was and having a mind-block to anything scholarly and new is a sign of closure to scientific reality. Give respect to what has been discovered, and breathe easy, for, people like you will not let anything change for Christian theology in the light of this revelations!
The four gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were written well before the end of the first century. Later, like the 'gospel' of Mary, 'gospel' of Thomas and now this newly discovered 'gospel' of Judas were always considered to be heretical since they had gnostic tendencies. This so called gospel will not have any effect on Christian theology. This is not a new thing that the theologians are facing. Even if a hundred such 'gospels' are discovered tomorrow, it is not going to change Christian theology because it is based on the solid teaching of the four gospels and other books of the Bible.
There is no place for the human scripts like Judas scripts or DaVinCi code in the life of a true believer in Jesus and who knows him personally. Many more such books or controversies might arise but that is not going to change the FACT that Jesus remains the Lord and Saviour of yesterday, today and forever. Books like DaVinCi are written for money and inspired by the Devil. The Bible on the other hand is the Word of God. There should never had called it the Gospel of Judas. Surprisely how judas wrote this book and then committed suicide !!!
Judas didnt recieve the gift of holy spirit as quoted in Acts 2 that would make him an apostle and thus would qualify him to write the Gospel. Infact Judas was dead by the time the Holy Spirit came onto the people and they were able to heal and speak in various languages. Moreover His writings are not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Disregard his so called "Gospel" which isnt. He is the traitor who later repented and hanged himself to death. Whether the end is near or not I dont know but all I know is, Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day as was told by prophets 4000 yrs before he was born. He is the Son of God. Greetings, Ronnie Gootam
Dear friends, I am not a christian, but I have a small question. We all know that according to the bible, Jesus Christ was the son of God, and he guided so many spirits to the right path. Also, we know that Juda was one of his 12 apostles whom he chose himself. So, doesn\'t it sound strange that Jesus, who was omniscient and nothing less than God, would select a person like Juda to be his apostel if he knew that he was not a good man and going to betray him? And can God be betrayed?? I dont think so.
I only hope this "finding" will make people read the existing four Gospels in earnest before reading all the literature that could come out on the so called discovery of Judas' gospel. This would enable people to get a right perspective on things and make an informed judgement on the matter.
