I would like to know how many come forward to support amma monetary . Is rediff listening this?Is there any kind of fund raiser for kind lady? I ask people in this coloum to support her monetary as devotionally they do in tempels?

Please inform. We do not want her to suffer at such an old age.

Re: At 106, she still cares about India
by Tofani_Tapudo on Apr 25, 2006 11:47 AM  Permalink

Till now I had only heard this saying, "Jindagi lambi nahi, badi honi chahiye", But today I saw the example of a life which is long as well great. If even 10% of people in India have a similar mindset, our country would be on top of the world. But even with whatever is the condition, India is still the best place to live. Long Live India. Jai Hind.

salute to Ma
by priyanka on Apr 25, 2006 01:23 AM  Permalink

the young youth of india needs to take a lesson from Ma. v can simply not sit nd blame it on our politicians. it is a %age from v people who never take pains to cast their vote nd then shout on the system. v have no rights to shout on corrupt india if v cant do anything substantial abt it.

by Yash on Apr 24, 2006 08:49 PM  Permalink

First of all "Thank you so much for interviewing and publishing this document".

Sometimes I don't understand this media. They cover "Ash injured during filming" in front page of almost all online newspaper. It is such a idiotic. Stop publishing such stuipd document.

Please keep publishing these kind of interviews once a while. Wow its amazing... Amma Sarswathy you are a great person. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING.

At 106, she still cares about India
by Satish on Apr 24, 2006 07:43 PM  Permalink

Excellent article. People like Saraswathy Ramaswamy are true inspiration to the struggle India is facing. It is a shame on us, as children of India that we are not able to uphold the dream that they have lived and died for.
I would strongly suggest rediff to post one such article atleast once a week. These are the true movers and shakers of India than the self-centered politicians. Would be wonderful if rediff spent more time in discovering such people than giving a daily dose of filmy gossip.
