A 100,000 pranams to self less people like you who worked to bring India out of slavery. If only the people now can realize the value of your efforts and strive to be a little self less, India would be so much better.
Thanks to the writer for bringing this to us. It should be really puiblished in leading dailies across the country to remind people of how many families have been sacrificed for freedom, so that they can stop and think as to what they are doing with the freedom. The present state of the country's politicians is a shame. May be they can learn a bit from people like Saraswathy Amma.
Mrs. Saraswathy Ramaswamy is an inspiration indeed!! She is a great example of patriotism and life after tragedies. It is a privilege to read about her. From the bottom of my hear, thank you Mrs. Ramaswamy.
i am a doctor by profession.i admire the way u maintained your self-respect even in the times of trials n tribulations when u had a great loss of your family.the way you fought it out n still living with dignity is an inspiration for all of us.your love towards our MOTHERLAND is an example for the future generations to keep the flame of Patriotism alive and safe from the hands of few selfish politicians.
it would be a pleasure for me if i can serve you in anyway.
i was inspired and tears welled up into my eyes by reading the story of SARASWATHI RAMASWAMY.really proud to have such a freedom fighter in my country.i want to know where she is staying exactly.
thanking you sir for giving an opportunity to make us read this great life story of madam ji.
Your writings have always been very touching, i couldn't stop my eyes getting wet...I am so impressed by her Pride for our Nation. How sad our country is no more like how our freedom fighters dreamt it to be.
Saraswathy Amma is ever so right in saying with plain objectivity of what their dreams and ideals were they fought for and the India we are confronted with today.
Some of us may argue that this is the sign of the times, but when i sit in meditative reflection, one single question always surfaces: is it really?
i bow my head before Saraswathy Amma and wish her another 106 year with ever-improving health and urge the country to finally do something for her. Has she not paid enough? Isn't it time for us to repay her at least a part of what the nation withdrew from her? She deserves more love and respect than any other living idol. She, to me, is more holy than most Godly figures roaming the streets of our country... my most sincere and profound respect goes to Saraswathy Amma as i make another futile attempt to hold back tears...
It was great reading about the person. At 106 she is still for the country. But so are we and definitely not to an extent she is. We are focussed on primarily on satisfying our own needs.
