coercive diplomacy
by A. Raja Rao on Sep 30, 2005 06:11 AM  Permalink

Musharraf is the greatest living liar in the world. If terrorism is not coercive what is. He gets away with anything he says since he has coined a new phrase 'supreme national interest'.

Coercive Diplomacy
by suresh taneja on Sep 30, 2005 05:31 AM  Permalink

I have a very strong point to make here that

why indian prime minister(any) says that we will talk on peace/J&K when pakistan stops terrorism/infiltration etc.

It shows we are helpless in checking our borders/& tackling this problem. If we show more helplessness then it will be a strong point in the hands of pakistan to blackmail us & they can dictate terms.

Rather pakistan should feel that through this process nothing is going to happen & we can face the challenge.

Govt should delay the process till the democratic govt comes in pak.Presently Musharraf is President but donning the Army Dress.

Our Govt should say in each forum that due to unstabilty in pak due to so many coups/changing govt/prime ministers in exile/prime ministers being hanged to death/whom to trust in that country & whom to talk as we can't rely.

Each meeting should be after five year on this subject & keep on changing the people.Because after that there will be lot of changes in pak as well.

Try to keep some sikh (tall) fellows/courageous/ with towering personaity in the negotiating team & we r not short of.
regards,
suresh

cunning inclusion of Jammu by musharraf...
by sid on Sep 30, 2005 02:27 AM  Permalink

If you read into the words said by musharraf... "India, Pakistan and people of Jammu and Kashmir"...

Slowly pakistan seems to be dragging the entire state of Jammu Kashmir, rather than just the Kashmir valley...

Its a dangerous thing and should be fittingly replied to..
