Do you all guys think that he really need a nobel prize? He himself is a nobel prize on his own. We need not prove that he has done such great works. He has taken birth on this world itself is a great prize for him and for us all.

i don't really think that getting a nobel prize would elevate Guruji or not getting a nobel prize would downsize His position.
nobel prize or not,He will always be what He is.it would be an honour for the people to give him the nobel prize and not the other way round.(no offence).

This sloka clearly says that Guru is brahma, Guru is vishnu and Guru is Lord Shiva and Guru is actually a paramatma who is seated in the heart of every body. Therefore, Guruji is not an ordinary human being , but actually he is equavalent to God as per the Hindu mythology. Sri Sri and his contribution to the welfare of the world is quite extra ordinary. Therefore, the giving or not giving of Nobel Prize to him does not matter, because he is above than all and the paramatma himself. Does Supreme God require any reward from any human being, since because he has created and sustaining the entire cosmos? Therefore, giving of the nobel prize is akin to giving the reward for the supreme power. Karma yoga gives importance to greedless deeds and if Noble prize is going to determine the value of work done by Sri Ravi Shankarji then it is the failure of the western world to understand the teachings of Hindu spirituality. Noble prize selection committe once upon a time refused Mahatma Gandhi twice to select for the award due to pressure from Britain and for other political reasons. Still Mahatma Gandhi after 50 years have followers for this spirituality. Most of the noble winner has gifted the world by their physical, materialistic wisdom and invention but Indians since thousands years greedlessly giving spiritual wisdom to the world. If the Noble Price is - even by mistake - given to such a money minded, professional, self-appointed so called guru, will really be a GREAT GREAT INSULT of its Founder.
I am really ashmed of all such people - there are innumerable of them in this world - who are out to grab innocent people\'s money in the name of Dharma and Yoga. What he is knowing is but an extremely tiny part of Swar Nadi Shastra and he is still Trillions of Light Years away from true yoga and self-realization.
True Guru is prohibited to Charge any Money or Favour for imparting Real Knowledge. In fact any person who believes in True Dharma will NEVER CHARGE ANY MONEY FOR : KNOWLEDGE, MEDICINE AND FOOD, these three MUST ALWAYS BE GIVEN FREE who ever ask for that from you.
More over our true spiritual tradition is of GURU-SHISHYA PARAMPARA in which ONLY THE TRUEly OUTSTANDING, GOLD LIKE, DICIPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE ADMITTED FOR FURTHER DISCOURSE, and Guru is never bothered about AMMASSING BUNCH OF SHISHAYS as is being practiced by so called self-appointed Gurus.
SUCH GURU MUST always be avoided if you ever want to progress on the path of spiritualism.
