As a deciple of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar what you say is agreed but we do have more saints and sadhus in a country linke india who are seniors to him and have been working for peace. No air conditioners, No Five Start Hotels, No Cars. Pada yatras, Sleep under a tree, eat what ever bikhsa they get. Dont u think these saints deserve more.
Art of Living is a cult organization. It is highly secretive, and works much the same way as other quasi religious organizations do : by finding people with weak minds and giving them a ticket to 'peace' by offering membership to a cult.
they are highly evangelical, and their classes are aimed purely at proselytizing unsuspecting people. The worst part is that they have now started recruiting children, a blatant shameful catch-em-young-before-they-realize-what-is-going-on strategy.
If Mr Mr, oops Sri Sri RS, is so at peace with himself, why does he dye his hair?:)) why does he collect money from his followers? why does he recommend people quit their jobs and grow beards and sit in his ashram?

For awarding Noble Religin should not be the basis. Whatever religin one who belongs, the work and sacrifice to be the main criteria for Noble prize.
There are/were noble ledaders lived in this world. Selection creteria should be how the world population is/was benefitied by the Noble Leader.
Noble Prize has already been given to us by God itself by sending a wonderful person like Sri Sri to this world to serve the mankind. We should be greatful to the God.
Even though I am not a great follower of Sri Sri. I do appriciate the good work done by any mankind.

It is a movement that is happening all across the world - and the real reason Sri Sri deserves this prize is because He has redirected youth energy in contributing to society - health, hygiene, human values, harmony in diversity and home for the homeless.. In today's time the youth needs role models, not in film stars and sports stars, but in messiahs like Sri Sri, who give a purpose to the youth, to make themselves useful to society. And it is this army of youth - called seva warriors, who have achieved these fantastic statistics.. Mother Teresa is dead - but she is still working through her sisters - the missionaries of charity. And Sri Sri works across the globe through His seva warriors..
If Noble Prizes are to be distributed based on one's followers' strength,then Indian socitey will be further divided in competeting for Noble Peace Prize for Bapu Asaram,Sai Baba(1 & 2),Swami Ramdev.
There is no room for any second thought regarding awarding of nobel peace prize to Gurudev. The quantum of work carried out by art of living foundation across the globe is tremendous. No one deserves this peace prize other than Gurudev HH Sri Sri Ravishankar ji.
