I can not agree more on the genral opinion that Ganguly has not been playing well. In his article Arvind has compared him to other captains on a couple of issues especially fielding.
Not just in cricket in most of the fields including journalism there are very few indians would could be compared to the best. So why single out cricket alone? Because it sells!
We as a nation are not upto the quality mark when it comes to a whole lot of issues including higher level education and sports. I am not a big fan of ganguly but i find that people write what sells best.
