If maulvi sahib has woken upto Sania dressing now, why was any muslim actress ever allowed to act in films, including acting in intimate scenes!! Is it not double standard. We have even actresses coming from Pakistan to act in Indian films.Please do not make religion a weapon to suffocate someone. It should facilitate peaceful co-existence.
This is bullshit....Maulvi has no right to dictate what Sania Mirza has to wear or not to wear..who the hell is he to dictate it to her....If he is really concerned about Islam and the dress code...First he should go and Issue Fatwas on those Bollywood Muslim heroines like Negar Khan,Katrina Kaif...who reveal their skin intentionally...but Sania Mirza does not do it Intentionally...it is past of her professional game and she does not wear those dresses out of the tennis court....this is all drama by these Muslim Fundamentalists who cannot see a Muslim Girl going out freely and winning the world....I have not heard even a single Educated muslim had opposed the Maulvi...which is no good....It is the time to change rules.....
TVR has written a very clever article, where he has refrained from commenting on the maulavi, but has raised the issue to let the readers comment.
In UK I noticed some of my Pakistani friends were also following Sania's progress in US open, and wanted to claim the reflected glory in the fact that she is a muslim. While to me only her being an Indian mattered. while I felt a bit properietory about her in front of my Pakistani friends,I felt an added sense of pride in Sania. Let's not bring her religious choices in controversy, as an Indian citizen her freedom to dress comfortably must be respected,so that she continues to win more glory for the country.
As for her dress, I think she looks pretty, and quite decent. Had I been a 20 year old, I surely would be having her life size poster in my room. That's every star's prerogative to look pretty.
Please do not give such a media coverage to such issues. This will definately affect the young girl , her long career. She has to climb lot more success steps.
Please keep quite for her her i ascending career.
She is the pride & inspiration for Indian sports, which mainly revolves around the Cricket.
one should take into mind that sania is the only tennis player for india reaching that far in agrand slam.It should be totally left on her what she is comfortable with wearing.It is a shame for the muslim board for raising their fingers on her.This also adds to the mental pressure to the player.

hey, thanks 4 ur feedback.1st of all,i want to say that we humans are more superior,civilized and intelligent and incomparable creatures created by God than animals.So,theres no question of comparing the two.
Regarding my imagination,abt her skirts,then my friend,you may not be noticing her skirts,but several millions notice. And god knows his priorities better than man..so let Him decide.. bye.
hi ppl, We all know taht sania has made us all proud,by achieving so much at such a young age. Though i am not surprised that ppl are making such a huge issue about her dress code,but sadly i too am equally confused. There is no doubt,that with every game her skirt seems to shrink.But I know its a game and that we should'nt mind that.But what i dont understand is that she says that God will forgive her,for she knows that she is wrong.But my point is ,will God forgive you for wearing mini's and micro mini's in the commercials that you have done,which of course is not part of the game. So,Just wanna say,get a clear mind,sania..and dont take your religion for granted..bye.

Kaneez If god defined what dresses people wear then pray why did god make animals ? and why did our predecessors not wear clothes ? did god forget them for a few million years and then wake up and say i have come out with my summer collection please wear these from now on ?
Micro mini is in your imagination, In all the ads or tennis i have not noticed the length of Sania's skirt, the length of her forehand on court being more important, so let's just stay focused there. And if God will need to forgive a person for wearing short skirts then God has got his priorities wrong.
