think again
by Ad on Oct 30, 2005 05:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr. Raman before u brand all muslims in one color think again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"The strongest suspicion will be on Al Qaeda and the IIF because the blasts took place one day after Al Quds and two days before Diwali, an important Hindu festival. Al Quds is observed by Muslims all over the world on the last Friday of the Ramadan fasting period to condemn the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem where the holy mosque of Al Quds is located. It is considered the third holiest mosque for Muslims after the two in Saudi Arabia."

State only if proved

Why the term Sikh terrorists bang infront of the list where they are probably the least likely by your own admittance? Secondly, why name a community? Name the militant outfit (as you have for the rest) if you actually have concrete information, if you dont have the information, its best not to state it.
There is a wide gap between saying sikh terrorist and naming a specific outfit, in one way you target a contained group in another you alienate an entire community.
Please dont alienate the Sikh community which is entirely different from the very radical and widely connected Al Qaeda. The sikh community and religion is the creation of the Indian soil and is thus much more emotionally bonded with India. Diwali is as important a festival for the sikh as they too have a significant historical event connected to this festival. Infact the Hindu Sikh solidarity was irrevocable until the unfortunate tenure of Indira Gandhi that attempted to scar a lovely bond.
Such has been the bonding between the Hindus and Sikhs that for more than a century there existed a custom of making one son from a Hindu family a Sikh and one son from a Sikh family a Hindu within the Punjab province. Thi

this guy wants India to be an islamist 'poodle'
by sr on Oct 30, 2005 04:26 PM  Permalink

In his urgency to bring in the US connection as the rationale when nothing of that sort has been suggested yet by events - Raman reveals himself to be an "ismamist poodle"...clearly he would love India to be a poodle to islamic nations, but not take any step in its own self interests.

Dear Mr. Raman,

This was a nice artice. As i would rather say we should also suspect the hands of ISI in these blasts in spite of shaking hands with India.
May be ISi or the pakistani government want to have a mask for the US aid in condemning the terrorism and on the other hand hosting the terrorist camps. If Musharaff dares to touch the terrorist movements in POK why cant he levae the governance of the kashmir to India. By this way we can firmly crack down the terrorism form the sub continet.

I am admist in the muslim region working in gulf. As I can see from the way of peoples behaviour the hatred is targetted by the politicians and the illeterates get deeply inclined due to the influence by some learned scholars. But I accept your views on the Iranian nuclear policy and the way India has handled may be the main cause for Al Qaeda to turn auround to India.

These are only my personal views and as an Indian citizen we have the right to qestion the policies of the elected government.

Regards,

This is the main reason that tory like B. Raman cann't be included among intellectuals. He always conclude with hidden message that Muslims are responsible for every terrortist act and India should discard its 150 million Musliums to remain terror free. But Mr Raman, how dare you throw out President Kalam and how can can you repay the sacrifices of Khilafat Martyrs and Soldiers like Abdul Hamid? You simply know about gossipping and quibbling with dangerous intentions. Stay away from mischievous acts and let the Country unite and fight against all the problems together. One bad fish destroy whole lake similarly Mr. Raman is spoiling the institutions like ORF and minds of rediff viewers. Just throw him out!!!
