by SETHURAMAN on Oct 28, 2005 01:13 PM  Permalink

The torrential rains in the southern states is not unusual in south INDIA. But this seems to be unprecedented. It started with Maharastra then other states and spread its tentacles to even w.Bengal. The rain gods seems to be annoyed . Let us all pray for their welfare and for quick response from the state govts for their rehabilitation. I am sure the disaster management group in the affected states will respond quickly.
