The sale of F-16s saved 5,000 jobs in Lockheed Martin as per a report in Wall Street Journal. It siphoned off money from Pak's economy. India need not worry as it is a 35 year old technology which was supposed to be sold in 1980's. Morever, without US support, no party can win a war/battle in the modern era.
