Earthquake relief and Jehadi movement
by C V R Bharati on Oct 15, 2005 11:13 AM  Permalink

It seems to me that Pakistani Government is wilfully acting in such a way that the population of Pak Occupied Kashmir is drawn towards the Jehadis. Though Islamabad is only about 60 kms away from POK, it didnot do what was required for providing relief to the quake victims. And instead propped up the Let and other jehadi outfits to step in. This way, Pakistani government is ensuring that the members of Jehadi outfits can develop rapport with the population of Pak Occupied Kashmir. That would help them get necessary support for jehadi activities from the residents of forward areas of Pak Occupied Kashmir.

To all the jehadis and the pak army, ISI

Yo have been killing innocent people in the Kashmir Valley for a decade now wihout a noble cause. Te Almighty is watching everything. You killed 1000's but He has taken Millions of yours....He is very just in His decisions and not spared people on the Indian side of the LoC....obviosuly because without the support of thelocals terrorists could never achieve their goals in the Kashmir Valley. So lets take a lesson from Him and work towards building a peaceful Kashmir ad we two neighbours live amicably.

Jeetu,

It's not the time to talk like this.
See, these pakistanis and similar category people are highly illetrate and misled type. They say, it's Allah's wrath on India or America etc. whenever there is a problem in these places. But we should not act like them.

If the Taliban broke the Bamiyan Buddhas, it does not mean others will attack KABA and will carve out a Buddha out of that stone block. We are and should remain tolerant and keep helping all.

What is new...
by Pathur S. Swaminathan on Oct 15, 2005 06:46 AM  Permalink

Well this is on expected lines, the affected feel that the quake was the wrath of 'Allah' for deviating from terrorism, now this article is a propaganda for terrorism. Not to discount the Pakis, especially their terrorist institution, the armed formces of Pakistan, perhaps this was a strategy to use a tragedy to strengthen terrorism -- a last ditch effort to provide the relief thru the terrorists, in an effort to wage an all our proxy war on India!

Shame this passes of as a point of view on Rediff! Not to demean the afflicted human beings, I really pity them, but I hope the Pakis see view this as retributionfor all thier follies around the globe instead!

I agree with the little KID
by zaid on Oct 15, 2005 06:14 AM  Permalink

our goverments are so corrupt that they will probably eat half the money what will come in relief effort. The political leaders should be punished severly. If i was a little boy and in his position i would have done the same thing. Whatever is written in the quran will happen noone can escape...
