Next quake
by handraprakash Shah on Oct 11, 2005 03:30 PM  Permalink

Dear sirs,
It is surprising to note that India does not have enough sesmic survey centres compared to China. Both India and Pakistan spend billions of dollars on defence supplies to protect their borders. But they are venerable to threat from the nature. Both the countries have not made enough protective measures against natural calamities, either it is famine, earthquake, flodding or Tsunami like tragedies.
Real pathetic show.

Vedas say time is eternal, soul is indestructable. Life and death, creation and destruction are continious process.

Our Govt. and people deeply imbeded in vedic way of life feel its futile and waste of time to take preccautions to protect ourselves from the natural extrems. After all the earth we are living today is the result of the same process that is happening since last few lakh years.

Also in theory of economics when supply increases value decreases. We have abundand supply of man power. so the value of life is so little that its will be a wasteful expenditure to spend again to protect valueless.

So lets wait and watch and debate and forget again till next natural calamity.
