by K,Parthasarathy on Oct 04, 2005 06:43 PM  Permalink

i dont know who is the author of this .... i m sure that he is not from south india....

1) no good parents will like there kids to wear sexy dresses ( most of the parents supported the ban for T-Shirts in chennai colleges) and to have sex before marriage .

2) second protest against the actress ... she told that any one can have safe sex before marriage and when protested ..questioned how many person in tamil nadu are vargin till marriage ..u should note she is from north india.

3)chennai is not like author's view ,,, u can see lot of lovers in Marina beach , besent nagar beach and mamallapuram .. no one distrub them in those places..

4) AIDS is more in tamil nadu than any other state in india ... even 5 year old kids know the name and 10 or 12 years old will know all abt AIDS

so my serious advice to ur author is let him do some use ful work and dont comment like this ..

this steps are needed to save our culture ...

we need chennai as such for long time... we dont need BPO culture and indian culture wont stop our growth ... chennai is NO 1 in Auto industries and NO 2 in IT...

Well Said
by Deepak on Oct 04, 2005 06:34 PM  Permalink

I too am a student belonging to this great city and all this is happenin in the city..

Its very shyful for us to be such barbaric when the other metropolitans are fast growing.

That doesnt mean that those metropolitans are forgettin the Indian culture and ruining our heritage.

Culture should change according to the GEN-X.

This city sleeps at 10 pm and wakes up at 4 am jus like wats happenin in a village these days.

Pray to god for a speedy RECOVERY of this city...

Got to read the story. But what is the motive behind such an imagined writeup? What is the point the author is trying to convey to the public.Just to get sometype of attention.

I felt that the story has no moral value and does not convey any usefull message at all.

How dare you ...
by Dr. K. Mallick on Oct 04, 2005 06:04 PM  Permalink

Ms Warrier has not composed this column well to convince others with what she wants to say. Instead of making it interesting, she tries to ridicule the Big Brother and has failed miserably.
