I understand the sentiment of most of the people who agrees to the "Death Penalty for Abu Salem". But think twice, is it going to solve the problem of the country which has been a generous host to all these terrorists? NO, that's for sure. I am sure that all of you will agree with me that there are hundreds of Abu Salem operating fromt different corners of the country.
He should be punished with rigorous life imprisonment (till his last breath) in an isolated cell which will make him die every moment. Giving him death penalty would be (in fact) pardoning his punishment.
according to my opinion yes he should be given a death penalty and the court should not hang him. but sentence him to death with a bomb itself so that he too is aware of others have suffered because of his cruel doing.
Let us not forget that we are a civilised nation. The right that was taken away from many by this one man would still be guaranteed to him, the right to a life without fear. However, we will not let any criminal get by; they should all be given a rigourous prison term and SOLITARY CONFINEMENT for 3 years alternating with 2 years of RI. (This sounds more sinister for Salem but its required to prevent future acts of terror) Such dastardly acts against humanity will not go unpunished and they will not meet death so easily.
i think govt should give him death penalty but prior to that convince the decision to portuguese authirities to whom they have given the undertaking that abu salem and monika will not be given death penalty as to why it is important to do so. so that the future relationship with prtugal would not get soured.
First of all we have to appreciate our Indian officials who played a challenging role in extradtion of Abu salem. Not only Abu Salem, Death sentece should be must for all those criminals who kills innocent people directly or indirectly (Politicians - LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharathi).
The root couse of the problem: These politions were involved in raising the communal hatred feelings in each other & motivating our hindu brothers to demolish mosque.
Our Law should must have to give death punishement to these politicians infront of Abu Salem,
