grant the capital punishment in an unconventional way so that it would not make extradition from other European countries,difficult. Grill him for years so as to get every tiny bit of information that you guys can and then think of a plan to get it done. How about a fake encounter?
One thing is for sure, he is too dangerous and too expensive to maintain him in prison.
leaving the legal intricises involved, it is absolute non - sense to have a condition for a criminal and that to from a foreign country. will they allow to do the same, if there people were killed, and also he is an Indian citizen, and how on earth portugal country can put a condition on him.
dear Indian government, wake up, we are independent in all causes, and if his crimes needs a capital punishment no need to bother, after execution, you can write a SORRY letter to portugal saying India got independence long back.

Yes, I think so that Abu Salem should be given a death penalty. The henious crimes that salem has done and the grave acts against the country should lead him to a death penalty.
I guess as Indian People have promised not to Hang him and as Indians we stay on our promise we should give him the penalty of Cutting his hands & Legs. I know it could be new kind of penalty to him but as we cant let him go freely ever..
He should be punished in such a way that never again anyone dare to do this..

Dear Arif, please brush up your knowledge about the "whole thing" here before commenting of the charges. The bomb blasts rocked mumbai in 1993 not in 2003 as you are referring. There are also several other counts of murders, extortions and kidnapping under wich he is being prosecuted.
He definitely deserves a capital punishment but due to Indian Government promises to Lisbon he cant get death penalty or a sentence more than 25 years. I hope he gets maximum punishment possible for what he've done to the innocents.
We have already promised the Portuguese that we wont levy death penalty. But we can surgically remove his both hands, legs, and his tongue, freeze all his assets, and then subject him to lifetime rigorous imprisonment. This is more than death penalty. Dont anyone dare bomb India.
