CBI is to assist the Investigation, but not to challenge the constitution
by Naveen.KB on Nov 13, 2005 09:03 AM  Permalink

We are seeing thousands of innocent people being assassinated for no reasons.

If politics is mixed up in investigation and judgement, this is unbecoming of the constitution of our nation.

The supremee court of India should no longer encourage this kind of an agreement.

What is the interest of Portugal on the life of Terrorists ?

No body should question the rights of Indian constitution and the Supreme court of India to judge on this.

Of course ! thats the only punishment he deserves! in fact life imprisonment would be nominal for person like him.

And if he can be hanged in public ,nothing can be more appropriate than it.

No He should not be

Kind of Crime, Salem has been involved in death sentence itself is meagre for him. Since NDA govt has made the commitment to the portugal govt.,
Indian goverment has to kept these words.

He should be given a kind of punishment which can pass the message to the other criminals and can create a fear in them so before planning any of heinous crime they think 1000 times.

Punishment such as his(Salem) legs should be amputated , should be made blind and should be sent to life sentence.

No to death.Pls enquire y these blasts happened? If the Babri Masjid had not been demolished, this might not have been occurred. When something demolished and said people's feelings, this should be taken on the same ground. If u give death penalty to demolished barbarians,u can give this barbarian also who took law n justice in his hand as revenge

the type of attention he is getting not as a inhuman criminal but as a godsend hero. Who knows some luminary might make a case for his release...."he reminds me of a man who killed both his parents and when judgement was to be pronounced he pleaded mercy on the ground that he is an orphan"

Should Abu Salem be given death penalty?
by S. Wadehra on Nov 13, 2005 08:39 AM  Permalink

Death penalty if found guilty, even if we have to renegotiate the matter with Portugal. If that does not work out and since we have to respect the agreement, then put the criminal through such a rigorous imprisonment routine that he would wish to die every day of his remaining filthy life. It sounds harsh, but he must experience what he did to others. These terrorists and criminals have made this world a jail for the rest of us.
