abu salem should be hanged to death no mercy should be shown as he had no courtesy towards so many people. If i would have been in indian army i would have shooted him on the spot.
obviously! There should not be any hasitation or confusion to apply the ultimate punishment upon such notorious criminal. Otherwise more mishaps to be faced, more innocent lives to be sacrifice, more wealth to be lost. So its a real time to take the right decision for the goodshake of humanity.
Given that we have assured the portugese govt , and got him extradited, it would strain the relation b/w the two countries. Moreover it would be a huge diplomatic loss for india. Since most of the countries have done away with the capitcal punishment and that many indian criminals are hiding in such countries, it is important that india creates the confidence to these countries. Alternative would be to get him killed in a fake encounter.
Forget the commitment given to portugal re abu salem's death sentence. He is a killer and should be hanged till death as he has made a crime on Indian Soil not on Portugal or Lisbon soil.
