Abu Salem should not be given capital punishment. Personally I am against the death penalty. Death is not the solution. What will India gain if he is hanged? Nothing. Will his death heal the eternal wounds of the people who lost their loved ones in the bomb blasts? Abu Salem should be used as a weapon to fight against the underworld. We should not forget that Abu Salem is a victim of greed and vanity. He should be made to realize what he has done. He should be given a chance to repent and do something good for the society. he will be knowing numerous secrets relating to the underworld. What we will get killing a guy who has lost everything? We know nothing about his life and the circumstances which made him turn into a dreaded don. What we hear is only one side of the story--- The story which the media tells us. I think death penalty will only be an escape for Abu Salem. Modern day justice is no justice at all. For a man who traumatised so many people / families for so long, I think the Red Indian scalping technique should do to square up. Or, At least convicted prisoners like him could be handed over to the Taliban (I support them for this one thing only).

Yes. Very much he should be given death penalty however his one hand, one leg should be cut and hire a guy who will put red chilli and salt on those cut places. And all should be done in public so that all the victims family can see this and console themselves. Their souls may rest in peace.
Yes he should get the Death Penalty immidiately. When will the government become serious about these guys ? They should not have any trials in court as these pests are famous dons and are desh drohi.
I feel that people like him should be hanged twice (if possible). What is the use of following ethics in case of a beasts like him??? Such people are not fit to live on this earth.
What a mess. He deserves to be hanged but Govt need to think of its obligations too. If it so, can the Govt keep him 25 years in jail ? He may be released if some hijackers demands him. Best bet is encounter death.
